  1. Blue Jays used again for leverage, all these players like Tucker take the easy road to win. They want the big bucks and go to a stacked team just to win, In basketball this would be called "the pulling the Durrant move" Baseball is becoming a joke with no caps..

  2. What’s a joke Jon Heymen is! He was crying when the Padres spent a bunch of money a few years ago!
Now the dodgers do it and it’s a good deal!
Jon Hayman and the dodgers are a joke

  3. Dodgers thinking might be that if we get Tucker then Bo is more then likely will resign with the Blue jays instead of Phillies. So we get better while Phillies did not improve and WS path look straight forward.

  4. I'm a big dodger fan and wish they hadn't gotten tucker. The infield's getting old and I'm not sold on Glauss and Snell (they keep getting hurt).
I wish they'd started somewhere else. Or they better have young guys coming up that are more effective than Rushing.

  5. Who the heck will ever opt out of a contract with an AAV of $60 Million?
I’m a Dodger fan and I do not like this signing. This guy is a very good player at best who is always hurt.

  6. The Dodgers didn’t win the Tucker sweepstakes, they simply paid the most… $60 MILLION A YEAR!!! If the Mets or Jays had ridiculously offered $70 million or $80 million a season, they would have signed Tucker. What the Dodgers have done is assure fans that a salary cap is coming for 2027!!

  7. Anyone that says this is bad for baseball is foolish. Every narrative needs a clear cut villain, for one. As a Yankees fan since the mid 90’s-I get it. But more importantly, they’re doing right by Ohtani. They’re doing what the Angels failed to do with Mike Trout (and Ohtani for that matter). Dodgers realize they have a once in a million player here and are building a monster around him.

  8. With the Dodgers being the 2nd best team in baseball last year and the Jays widening that gap over the off season they needed to do something, and over spend for someone is what they did.

  9. It's capitalism. If other team owners want to make money, they should spend and put the best product in the field. I bet the Yankees, Cubs, Blue Jays and the Dodgers are going to make money this year!

  10. Giving this average player more money than Judge or Soto is just stupid (declining ever since '21 with recent WAR of only 4.5). As a Dodger fan, this is the dumbest signing of my lifetime. Even worse than Andruw Jones signing.

  11. Not gonna lie this is the reason I no longer watch baseball. Small market teams have no chance to be competitiveor if they are its short term vs buy all the talent. Just cut the league to 8 teams who have a chance to compete and buy the top tier talent.

  12. This is sad. The Dodgers are destroying the league. The competitive aspect of the league is gone. The fact that the other owners are not complaining is that they aren’t in the league to bring a championship to their fans. They’re more than willing to cash in on the tax money that the rich teams have to pay. Their fan’s disappointment every year doesn’t matter.

  13. This is a dodger dynasty. It’s only gonna be for another year or two.. and that’s it. People relax. Everyone needs to understand. This isn’t from the last two years. Look at the starts they’ve been amazing since 2017

  14. Frankly, we needed Kyle. There are some big questions going into next season about whether Mookie and Freddie are on the decline. We needed reinforcements in case of that very real possibility
