  1. If we get into the playoffs with a new offensive coordinator and the same thing happens, we can no longer make excuses for Justin Herbert as we have been for years

  2. – Mike McDaniel (OL Frank Smith) *Promote Frank when Mike leaves for HC job in 1-2ys*
    – Brian DaBoll (developed Allen/Dart)
    – Kingsbury (Mahomes/Baker/Kylar/Jayden)

  3. What stock do you put in Najee? Is he too old or does he have 1 or 2 more solid seasons left? Everyone keeps talking about Omarion but I saw Najee run a few plays in Brazil and it was apparent how big and downhill he runs. I want that two headed monster and Vidal in the wing. Also, I don't think KLS has spread his wings yet but I see him as a cousin of John Jefferson with his athletic abilities. Thx Money and CH!

  4. Really interesting listening to these guys – they're smart, know football. I would disagree with the assessment of the Hampton pick though. I don't think he is elite. He is big and fast but he is not elusive/doesn't make people miss – which all the best RBs in the NFL are. Furthermore, I would not use a first round pick on a RB unless you are right on the cusp of winning it all and you believe a top RB will put you over the top. If the blocking isn't there – and we knew the interior Oline was inferior – no RB will shine. Look at Jeanty in Las Vegas – bad use of a first round pick. No RB can overcome a bad Oline. I would rather have two or three Kimani Vidals, chosen in the 4th round and after, and rotate them to keep them fresh. Plus, RB is the most injury prone position in football – and it played out as such with Hampton…

  5. No matter who the Bolts draft, it's still a snakebit franchise. I heard San Diego will get an expansion team once stadium building is set.

  6. Shanahan also runs an outside zone scheme money. But we need to be able to pair that up with the power plays out of 12 personnel. The stress that puts on a defense is hard to gameplan against

  7. Money….any word on insight for going after Tyler Linderbaum?….offer him watever he wants!…..just by getting him…..offense changes by the snap of the fingers……was looking at his highlight films……BEAST

  8. Zion Johnson graded out 23 of 37 starting LGs on PFF (granted, not perfect, but show me another grading system?). He was the 22nd highest paid LG last season at $3.68M.

In case you missed the NBC graphics in the Patriots game, Chargers PFF OL grades:

LT Jamaree Salyer – not enough reps at LT to qualify
LG Zion Johnson – 23 of 37 LGs
    C Bradley Bozeman – 41 of 41 Cs
RG Mekhi Becton – 36 of 37 RGs
RT Trey Pipkins – 39 of 40 RTs
