ESPN trade machine says this would work! I think everyone wins. Thoughts?
Wolves: Giannis, Scottie Pippin Jr
Bucks: Bam Adebayo, Donte
Grizzlies: Gobert, Rob Dillingham
Heat: Ja Morant
Trade…
I have a feeling if we trade Dilly, he's gonna explode. I've seen him play, he's a hooper man. It's hard to get going as a young player when you have a short leash. Look how the wolves play when they play the youngsters without a leash (like last game against Milwaukee), they ball out. They werent afraid to play basketball because they knew they werent gonna get yanked after one mistake.
Finch has never developed rookies or young players. He's always relied on vets or extreme talent like Edwards.
Connelly can NEVER save his load. Dude gets all exited and blows his load over anything he sets his mind to. Before they ever played a game under him he blew ALL their cap space when they would have had a max under the cap at the end of the year and took us all the way up to the 2nd apron while unloading almost all their draft picks. Kessler was 80-85% of Gobert as a rookie for 5% of the money. Kessler plus that 46 win Wolves team would have went further than a 5 game 1st round exit to Denver and built from there. Would be as good or better never having gone that route. And if he kept KAT you have your Giannis trade chip. Then 2 1sts for Rob for no reason and Edey was there you passed on who makes an impact. KAT, Ant, Jaden, Naz and MORE than all there picks plus the best cap situation in the NBA are what he came into. He deserves criticism and never gets pushback from the media.
Are you AI? I think you said Nori’s name 3 different ways
I don't think the Wolves will get much with a trade of Dilly. I realize that Bones has given the team what they would like to have seen with Rob, however Finch is incapable to expand his roster and mix and match his deep bench with starters. Rob needs to move because he isn't getting time like he would get from a team like Washington or Sacramento. I would like to see a player like Malik Monk or Sadiq Bey.
Just depends on what you can get for him. As for Rob…if he was on a different team which he played all the time, I bet his development would be further along at this point…
