That Trocheck/Team celebration picture is one of my favorites.
ššš i was at this game, unbelievable how far they’ve fallen
If we had Sullivan coach this exact lineup⦠We may have had b2b cups. We were PP merchants those years and dangerous ones. 5v5 was weak af though. Sullivan over Lavi for the two good runs, may have been a very different result
INSANE how this is 2024. wtf. Itās quite astonishing how one guy (Drury if ya didnāt know!) single handedly destroyed this team with zero plan – amazing.
Was at that game. Haven’t had as good a time there since.
At least Drury decided to send the first round pick to Pittsburgh last summer instead of this year. Silver linings.
Itās literally just 2 years ago. How the fuck did this happen
I was at the Trouba helmet toss game, I thought that was the low for this core. Turns out that just on the toilet seat of the bowl of shit weād get into
We all do. They ran into a dynasty and never recovered.
How does this feel so fn long ago ugh. The postseason I had so much fun going to the bar watching those games.
I think that having a moment like this is what it should all be about.
2024 shoulda been the year. Coulda been up 3-1 on Florida and who knows. Nothing tops 2015 for me personally, Im still not over it almost 11 years later. That Game 7 haunts me
Sad
This was such a great moment.
The one truly unforgiveable mistake that cost that team a cup that year was when Trouba broke his ankle. Instead of throwing him on LTIR and weaponizing his $8M of cap space to pick up a major trade deadline acquisition, they did nothing and rushed him back into the lineup to play on one leg. We can debate the āfairnessā of championship teams being well over the cap all we want, but banners fly forever and the example was already set for years by others.
That year was a great time to start being a season ticket holder. I just wish I was smart enough to not renew for two additional years.
Iād also like to say while Iād love to see another 1994 Stanley Cup Documentary this summer on MSG Networks /s, it would be cool if they could run stuff on deep playoff runs and celebrate those as well. I get that it isnāt a championship, but contrary to popular belief, there have been some good times since 1994 and it would be cool if this organization could acknowledge those times with some half hour shows here and there.
Who woulda known Barclay Goodrow gettin forced outta here would tear this whole thing down
Thanks Drury!
Oh you mean the team that Drury blew up and Dolan stood by and watched it happen.
I knew that team wasnāt going to win and a lot of it was just an illusion, but man it was still fun to watch the ride. They almost gave me hope again, didnāt realize just how good we had it

A team. That’s what it was. A team

Is this when they won a series?
