Lakers Trash Defense Exposed in Another Blowout Loss

JJ Redick is beside himself at the lifeless Lakers defensive collapse in yet another blowout against another subpar team.

  6. They need to get Luka some defense.

    The 2024 Mavs improved Luka's defense by putting great defenders around him and they covered up his weakness and made it easier for him to contribute on the defensive end.
    112.6 reg and 108.2 playoffs.
    That's very good for someone who's not a defender.

    Yet this Lakers team has maybe 1 or 2 defense around him ? Bron, Luka and AR are defensive liabilities, the Mavs had PJ, Gafford, DJJ were and even lively at times were basically covering for Lukas defense while he improved their offense.
    It was a cooperation, yet this Lakers team got no one like the Mavs team and no one who hustles like PJ.

    This Lakers team was cooked when they chose not to add some defense and they really need to do it, heck trade LeBron for defenders

  10. Lebron is the main reason for all of this. I don't what it is with LeBron but he is definitely hampering the team and every player's full capacity. We saw the potential of the Lakers at the beginning of the season. Everyone is unleashed, then Lebron came back and then what..back to the losing streaks. I like the Luke-Reaves led Lakers

  24. Ayton gotta be the second softest player ever.. only to Lebum!!! Lebum has been a defensive liability since Jason Terry got a hold of him and he has been clutch time liability since his first Cleveland stay!!!

  28. JJ please, don't bring the Celtics in the conversation. They build an excellent culture with accountability with unselfish 2 way players & intelligent coaching & player develpment. Lakers are just a freak show compare to Celtics organization.

  31. It's not the Lakers… it's LeFraud that STINKS.
    The decision to improve by at least 20% is straightforward. BENCH LeFraud.
    But they are too afraid to do it. So they will continue to lose.

  35. Lebron messed up by not announcing retirement and making this his last year. Now he will probably do that this summer and the lakers have to suffer another year of putting him and luka on the floor to give him a farewell season.
