14. Right before Covid I drove up to Buffalo to watch the Jackets play. Snagged sweet yet uncomfortable seats in the second row just over from the Jackets bench. There was a season ticket holder who talked nonstop about Gerbe for a good ten minutes.

    Man if we could put his heart into every player in a lineup they would win win win.

20. Off ice topic, was a great family man. I worked for the change over crew 2019-2020 and Gerbe was spending time before and after the games with his wife and kids near the locker rooms. The whole family had matching jerseys.
