This is based on an OTC article that looked at OTC’s estimation of contract fate, and the regular season OTC Valuation metric from 2025 when compared to the league median.

The nine they mention are Sean Murphy-Bunting, Baron Browning, James Conner, BIlal Nichols, Dalvin Tomlinson, Jacoby Brissett, Akeem Davis-Gaither, Zaven Collins, and Evan Brown.

  2. I hope we don’t lose Zaven. He isn’t some all star player, but I have liked him since his first draft video and he’s just been present and consistent.

  3. I think three of these are easy. SMB, too expensive and has no place on this team. Bilal Nichols, too injury prone and no upside to keeping on the team. Same with Evan Brown, I think he’s been skipped over by Gaines and Adams, and can be replaced easily by a day three draft pick.

    After that you have the depth only guys. If Campbell retires you keep Dalvin and vice versa, they can’t afford to lose both on an already weak Dline. Davis-Gaither would start behind Mack and Cody and you could find a cheaper potion with more potential. Last, nobody wants to see Connor cut, he’s been unbelievable for the cardinals, in a perfect world he comes back on a restructured deal but his salary is needed elsewhere, and I think they go in next season with Benson, Knight, and Demarcado.

    The last three I think you keep. Unless the first pick is an edge rusher Baron Browning will be needed on this team for depth. Collins hasn’t been great but he’s solid and seems important to the other players. And Brisset is the best backup in the league and possibly the starter for next season. They will not cut him.

  4. The only ones I see on that list I’d wanna keep is Browning and Brissett and maybe Zaven but at the same time I get cutting them for cap relief, the team will need a lot of new faces and here’s a few targets I want them to get:

  6. At Conner’s age, I wouldn’t be upset if the team moved on from him. He was my favorite player. Barron and Collins can be traded for day 3 picks, but you will need to draft well to replace the depth. Murphy-Bunting and Bilal are not needed. Tomlinson is needed to start, but a NT needs to be drafted. I keep trading down in this draft and accumulating draft picks, just to try and replace the players we have. We need 12 new players

  7. I like baron but he didn’t produce sacks like I hoped , he and sweat looked good on opposite ends at times but we never blitzed rendering them ineffective, why would we cut Samurai Jac ? Didn’t we bench Kyler for him ?
