Bills OC Joe Brady interviewing for HC Sunday

  1. I’m cool with Joe Brady. The offense took an immediate step up once he got promoted.

  2. Brady is my number 2 behind McDaniel. Joe Brady was the one who really made them be a team of players and not just Josh playing hero ball with Diggs.

  3. No thanks. There’s a reason Bills fans all shit on him every game. Dude is a Allen and Cook merchant.

  4. I think Joe Brady is interesting from a cultural fit perspective. Not too many guys who could mange to successfully cultivate an offense where you take the ball out of Josh Allen’s hands, remove Diggs from the equation, and still produce great results.

I’d be interested in hearing his take on our team. He might be a good guy to bet on the come, him, Kubiak, and Grant Udinski. That’s a bit more exciting to me than a guy who has been a HC but has mostly churned along at or below .500.

  5. I watched a good amount of Bills games this year and his offense is not good. He relied on Allen bailing out his shitty playcalling

  6. I’d be open to the idea if he was hired, but he’s tended to have elite talent where he’s succeeded (LSU with Burrow/Chase/Jefferson and Bills with Josh Allen/Cook). I like to think Bijan and London are or can be in that tier in London’s case. He was not good at all in Carolina though. I’m also not sure his temperament is the best for being a head coach.

  7. Issue is we don’t have anything close to a Josh Allen, and Brady is carried by Josh. They have a great run game but most of that is because how much attention Allen draws from defenses. Take out Allen and you know they’re just gonna run it, gonna get the same results we already had when every defense knows we’re just gonna run again and again

  8. I find this interesting considering Joe burrow also wants to be traded soon I’m sure

  9. I understand the hesitation with Brady but the thing is Buffalo suffers from the curse of thinking just because they got Josh Allen and James cook they automatically a good offense. All that rhetoric about “everybody eats” is dumb and they’re ignoring the fact that that they have a mediocre pass catching core and issues on the offensive line.

When Brady took over as OC the bills production massively increased.

Don’t just listen to what bills fans have to say about him

I would rather have Mike McDaniel over him though

  10. Bills fan here, this would be a legitimately great hire for you guys. The fans who blame Brady for stuff just honestly don’t know ball. The lack of a downfield passing game is a personnel issue, not a coaching issue. You see it constantly, so many plays where there’s absolutely no one open. The Bills have the best rushing attack in the NFL, and the Falcons have an even better all-around running back in Bijan. Josh Allen has also been a lot less willing to take what the defense is giving him this year.

Long story short, Joe Brady gets criticism from Bills fans because they refuse to criticize Josh Allen. He’d be a good hire.

  11. Started out with Brees in NO, Then got Burrow at LSU, Now he’s got Josh in BUF.

But there’s a spot I always circle on his resume: Carolina. Cause he had Darnold there. And it failed miserably. Knowing what we know about Darnold today, is that he could’ve been coached up, but he was a part of the think tank that wasn’t capable of doing that. So the way I see it: Give Joe Brady a Top 5 QB and everything is good. But developing a guy, not so much. 🚩
