Falcons are bringing Stefanski in for a second interview today

  1. Good sign already want to get ahead of other potential teams that might be interested in him.

    Playing Chess not Checkers ♟️

  2. Figured this would happen. I don’t mind it. I get a bit worried about him passing up play calling duties when they sucked, but it’s the Browns. I still think it should be McDaniel though. If not him, Stefanski is a close second, then Kubiak.

  3. Btw this interview was rescheduled purposely to be before the interview he has with the Titans today. They might not want him to leave the building without a contract

  4. Just sign Stefanski, I’ve warmed up to the idea of him. He had quite possibly the worst GM in the league to do with

  5. I wouldn’t hate it. I think he did a really great job on the Browns despite being handicapped by their total organizational incompetence. The Flacco year especially was a coaching masterpiece

  6. Stefanski got fired because his idiot gm and owner spent 230 million bucks on a shitty qb. He’s had the worst offensive roster in the league for years yet has taken them to the playoffs twice and won coach of the year TWICE. I would love to see what he could do with a more competent team.

  7. He’s kinda tied for my 2nd choice with Kubiak behind McDaniel. I think you could argue the merits of Stefanski vs Kubiak all day but one has a track record with some positives and some negatives and one has no HC track record at all.

Still wish we’d go McD bc imo he has the most pros and fewest cons but at the end of the day I’ll be satisfied with any of the 3.

  8. How is Stef at developing QBs and offensive playcalling? Ik he got hamstrung by a terrible situation over in Cleveland but he also had 2 years where he gave up playcalling halfway through, and I feel like the two things above are what I’d value most in a coach

  9. Adam S disabled his comments. Good luck selling this to the fan base. He’ll do fine with the pieces ATL got on offense especially with Pitts

  10. He won a road playoff game in Pittsburgh for the goddamn Cleveland Browns. That is a bigger accomplishment than any of the other candidates have IMO

  11. Gonna happen. They love career losers that have excuses. At least tell us that you tried to hire Mike Tomlin and tell us he simply could not be attained. Tomlin won with guys like Mason Rudolph, no excuses necessary.

  12. My gut feeling says they are gonna try to keep him from leaving today and this is our next coach

  13. Dude is just Arthur Smith 2.0. If he’s hired it’s gonna be another 3 years of going sub .500

  14. Get ready for the media circus if we do hire him. When the Browns fired him everyone was calling the Browns idiots and letting a good coach walk.. but watch what happens when we sigh him. Suddenly it’s going to be a lot of “what is Atlanta doing” articles and completely shitting on us for hiring him over other available coaches.

  15. Would be thoroughly whelmed. Such a meh option. He’s literally passed down play calling duties two years in a row.

This isn’t the guy we want.

  16. I’m beginning to think we’re just destined to never have a winning head coach.
