  1. they probably did what they’re accused of and that’s annoying, but what’s more annoying is that legalizing sports betting and making it easier than ever opened the gates for this bullshit and it’s no one’s fault but the MLB and every other major sports league for allowing prop betting and taking money from national books.

    and the thing is, without parlays and prop bets these books would be in dire straights. there isn’t much money to make on outcomes. ppl are too good at predicting outcomes and understanding team concepts. they ban bettors who win too much because of it.

    if your business is just the lottery with extra steps, probably it shouldn’t exist

  2. Anyone else notice the article refers to them as “the former Guardians pitchers”? As far as I know, they’re still technically on the team, just on the restricted list.
