  1. Geen bay runs a motion type offense so agile off lineman would fit that and i think they run more 4-3 type defense, with good lineman draft miami just had that would fit also

  2. The Rooney Rule, Affirmative Action and DEI is patronizing to any minority. It’s all garbage that makes weak people feel good. No wonder Flores was pissed when the Giants knew they were hiring Dabol the last time yet wasted his time with a meaningless interview.

  5. Hate the Rooney rule. It had it's time & place. Time to put it to rest. Just continues to be a stumbling block to teams who already know who they want to hire.

  6. I agree that they need to fix the "Rooney Rule". A coach should be considered for their culmination of the work they have accrued over their career, and not because of the color of their skin. By trying to fix a racial issue, they just made another racist issue.

  8. Hey Doug, I agree with your sentiment, but the reason for the Rooney rule was because the minority candidates weren’t even given an opportunity to interview. So although it looks like a sham, they are at least getting their chance to present themselves in front of these owners which they didn’t get before..

  10. With the arguable exception of Nick Saban — whose elite status applied primarily to college football rather than the NFL — the Miami Dolphins have not interviewed or hired a truly elite NFL head-coach candidate at any point since 2000.

    During that period, Miami’s coaching searches have been limited almost exclusively to first-time head coaches, coordinators, or mid-tier recycled candidates, rather than proven or consensus elite NFL head-coaching figures.

    Around the league, it has long been perceived among top coaches, agents, and executives that the Dolphins suffer from structural ownership and organizational authority issues — including unclear power alignment and limited long-term stability — which have discouraged elite head coaches from even entering the interview process.

    As a result, Miami’s challenge has not been failing to hire elite coaches, but failing to attract them into consideration at all.

A COACH THAT HAS BEEN THERE LEARNED FROM THEIR MISTAKES AND LEARNED FROM THEM ….GO A DIFFERENT WAY….SOME ONE WITH EXPRIENCE!!

  16. We got played by the Ravens. They fired Jim knowing it would cause Ross to fire mcdanial who is now going to be the hc for Ravens while our candidates suck ass. I don't want any of them.

I like the Idea of shula but only with Uncle Mike comming in as OC/qb think he might be able to fix Tua dont laugh, he is a Alabama man, but really we should be happy with anyone the new GM wants to stake his future on. I mean if the guy he picks sucks you guys are going to run him out of town early, I will Give Sully 5 years and the first two are build years, fix cap next two years get your qb out of the better qb draft in 2027. He gets 14 players in draft to find a few. I'm hoping for Wolf clone so he will draft a qb this year hopefully mid rounds. I think If was him I would trade way back or out of first round to save money and collect another 2nd and 3rd maybe a sixth. 2nd and 3rd round is Trench warfare territory lets get'er done. Need CB/FS as well especially if they trade Minka for picks. I would not but he probably will.

    We have to trust in Sully. Fins up get coach and make the first step in the 5 year rebuild.
