Family did a late Christmas gift exchange due to people travelling, so we opened gifts in January. I got a very thoughtful gift of a signed puck from my favourite(former) Canuck, purchased before the trade 😭

Hey, now you’ve got a puck for street hockey 👍
He was still the best of us. Cherish that your family found something that at the time was the perfect gift. They clearly care a lot about you.
Honestly still our franchise leader in points/goals/assists for a defender. A record which probably won’t be touched for years, if ever. So all in all a very good piece!! Even though it’s sad, you’ll appreciate it down the road
The real gift is you got someone in your life who bought this expensive gift cause they thought you’ll love it
Better to have loved and lost than having never loved at all.
30 years from now you’ll be really happy you have that.. Or maybe you won’t I don’t know. I still have all my Bure stuff all these years later.
Quinn will forever be a Canuck, even in less formidable years, his jersey will be raised in Vancouver eventually.
Don’t be sad that’s it’s over, be happy that it happened. 🥹
Meh, still a great hockey player. I received the exact same thing, except Bo Horvat.
I think most of us will still be fans of him after the mourning period is over. Nice gift.
Such a cool gift!
Yeah his was the first jersey I ever bought
i’ll take it if you don’t want it 👀
It’s still a thoughtful gift.
But yeah him walking because of the general dysfunction was the right move for him and did the right thing to tell Rutherford early so they could get bidding and the best value.
I miss that insane skill, I miss his all-world line walking and creativity.
But I don’t miss his sulk faced answers to the media. He is a GREAT hockey player, but he was an abysmal Captain.
