[Heyman] Brewers taking offers on Freddy Peralta, with Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, Giants, Braves among teams interested

  1. Peralta would be a rental. Tough to commit sending guys like Sproat when MLB doesn’t allow pre-trade extensions from the new team.

  2. 1-Get Peralta (He stinks in the playoffs and it’s a rental so I wouldn’t go too far to get him)

    2-Sign  Valdez

3-Sign Belli. That lineup would be insane.

  3. I’m sure this won’t happen. But how are people feeling if the Mets land Peralta and Bellinger?

  4. Just remember regardless of Stearns relationship, AL teams still have an advantage. Brewers know they could face whoever gets him in NL playoffs.

They tend to trade with AL a lot, and prob not a coincidence

  5. “Mets closing in on deal for Brewers’ ace Peralta”

    [Ten minutes later meme]

”Dodgers land Brewers’ ace Peralta in blockbuster deal”

  6. I want Fastball Freddy. I figure this will be the Brewers’ Corbin Burnes/Devin Williams trade of the offseason. I think Baty is an obvious piece they’d want. Problem is the next piece is probably pitching. I’d rather give them Peterson or Scott than any of the big pitching prospects. Unless the Brewers really like some of the more obscure pitching prospects in our system. Like RJ Gordon or Zach Thornton.

  7. At this point, my proposal is that if you trade with the dodgers, you should be kicked from the league

  8. Dodgers have Yamamoto, Ohtani, snell, Glasnow, sasaki, and Sheehan as rotation pieces. At this point getting Peralta is just trolling the rest of mlb.

  9. I like Peralta much better than any free agent pitcher. Obviously, there’s a limit to how much I would want us to give up for him, but in general, I would love for us to get him.

  10. Anyone trading with the Dodgers should make any package ask absurdly high. Fuck em over in a few years or don’t deal with them.

  11. What if the Mets offer that when he signs either Mr or Mrs Met will give him a big ol smooch? Dodgers can’t top that

  12. Any team that trades with the Dodgers right now should be shamed, unless there are no similar offers out there

Beyond that, pretty much every “top” prospect the Dodgers have dealt lately has underwhelmed
