Seemed like the Vikings might have made a reasonable judgment call when they passed on resigning Darnold – AT THE TIME – given the preceding lack of success of Cousins in his next chapter in Atlanta. (I mentioned Kirk so it’s relevant to the sub so BACK OFF.)

BUT NOW…they sure seem like some silly geese. (Gooses? Geese.)

Is Darnold just lucky to land on a hot team again? Seemed like a probable cause of action in Minnesota with tossing the ham to Justin’s Jefferson and whatnot. But dude looks like the truth rn.

I truly don’t really know and that’s why I’m asking. I mean Geno Smith breathed a little life into the Hawks…maybe the missing ingredient was just…Sam Darnold? HAS THAT EVER BEEN SAID BEFORE???

  2. Idk. Sam is playing well but the defense is really lights out reminds me of Texans. If I had to guess those two teams make the bowl because their defenses are just running offenses over so far.

  11. The Seattle team surrounding Darnold is so far above Minnesota that this speculation is pointless. Darnold is good, but Minnesota would be bad even if they kept him.

    He’s playing well, but let’s be real it’s the Seahawks defense and run game that is really carrying the team

  13. Once again Commies need to field a better defense. Look at all these great defensive teams in the playoffs. The best ones are carrying their teams.

  14. It might have been luck one time with the Vikings (it wasn’t), but it’s not luck with both the Vikings & the Seahawks.

    The Seahawks are underrated by most.

    I don’t think Stafford can avoid Stafford specials (inexplicable bad picks) 2 games in a row, though he proved me wrong in the 2022 playoffs.

    The Bears defense is even worse than the 49ers. They can’t beat the Seahawks.

    The Seahawks are going to the Superbowl.

    If Stroud doesn’t ball the fuck out, the Seahawks will be the only standing between Maye & a 7th ring for the Pats.

  15. Honestly, I’m happy for the guy – he played well for the Vikings but after that poor performance in the playoffs last season, they dumped him. By that thinking, the Bills should get rid of Josh Allen – which would be stupid. I’m not saying Darnold is the same as Allen, but clearly he’s shown that in the right system, he can flourish. Obviously having an elite defense, a strong running game, and a special teams that can get a TD on the first play of the game helps lol
