  1. Draft for needs until you build up your team, then you go bpa. We have to many holes to fill now. Teams that are perennial powers can go bpa because their teams are basically set, the vikings are not

  2. Won't NIL money eventually create a free agency logjam? As players stay in college longer, they enter the draft older and reach free agency later, somewhere around 28 years old. That could flood the market with similarly aged players, drive salaries down, and reduce the number of free agency cycles players have over their careers. Might not be bad for the NFL, just sayin.

  3. Agree with #1 need but Wentz as the challenger to JJ? Dude was unsigned when training camps closed. Literally, on trash heap. Pain tolerance is not the main quality for QB play. #2 need is interior of both trenches and no more Skule.

  4. AWESOME list Andy! 👍FWIW, the only thing I would change is the order of priorities you ended up with after your edits. Since it was the offence that held the Vikes back in almost every game, bringing back Wentz, getting a starting Centre & swing OT, plus adding more OL depth to deal with injuries (inevitable for all O-lines) will bring the biggest bang for the buck. Next, adding a dominating D-lineman who can get pressure up the middle AND getting a big nasty NT will make the first two levels of the defence pretty dangerous. This will cover up deficiencies in the secondary to some degree. So, I would put both a Safety who can do pass coverage (Metellus can't), and a 3rd CB lower on the list than the upgrades to the DL. 🤔As far as RBs go, I think it would be smart to keep Aaron Jones Sr. but mainly use him as a 3rd down specialist, especially if its a 3rd & 5 or longer. His pass protection, pass catching, football smarts & ability to keep everyone calm in the huddle will be required in those situations. As for a 3-down back, he had better be good at all the things Aaron Jones Sr. does for the offence…not another Jordan Mason.🤔

  5. So Kwesi doesn’t have the best draft record …. This upcoming draft is very weak.? and we may be losing the best part of our team which is defensive coordinator Flores…. We’re all looking forward to next year.😂😂😂

  6. Maybe there's more to it that I don't understand but I'm not so sure we're cutting Allen and Hargrave. Allen is $17m dead, saving just $6 mil. Hargrave has just one year left: pay him $20m or cut and save $10m. Could pay off having those guys in the playoffs next year if there's a nice rotation.

  7. These are the top six needs: CB, C, S, RB, NT, TE

Take into consideration that this draft is deep in S and NT. I like Lew or Slaughter in the second round. I like Jonah Coleman in 3a or 3b.

  8. I was so glad when Denny's Vikes took Moss, but other than that I remember mostly bad draft picks. My first memory was them taking Darrin Nelson over Marcus Allen.

  9. I have some concerns about Sadiq. I think we should cut hock and find a way to get Johnny Mundt back to Minnesota. Sadiq hasn’t really developed as a route runner in fact he looks like the same player as the previous year and that’s my issue. I feel like he didn’t really grow. If Love and Downs are gone than we just gotta go best CB available unless a guy like Ruben Bain falls (which I actually feel like can happen due to the measurables)
