  1. Marlon and Nate were number one and two and giving up yards this season. It didn’t feel like they were giving up big plates all the time. They were giving up big plates all the time. That’s just a fact.

  2. Marlon had 4 picks this season, tied for 3rd in the league, cut it out. They had 3 all pro players on this defense and they all looked bad under Orr. You can't say someone got cooked unless you know the assignment, thats casual ish. Until we see them under a new DC the jury is still out.

  3. For about 5 years now I been saying put Marlon at the slot! Why do you have a slow non athletic player at a position , on an island and can't even jump??? Safety or slot it's really that simple

  4. Y'all tripping Marlon was a good corner. If you watch film ZO had the corners playing 7 to 8 yards off their man that is the reason they were getting burnt. Not enough time to get to their man. ZO didn't coach them up well. Marlo has 14 picks in the last 2 years. He save some of our games.

  5. A culture takes years to develop!…and the 1 thing harbs did do right is the culture! every free agent that ever came here spoke of it! The culture isnt/shouldn't change its the X's & O's that needs to be adjusted!!!

  6. It's not as easy as people think to transition from corner to safety. The angles you take on things are drastically different. The brakes you make on the ball are different.
I think the best case scenario is to reduce the cap number for Marlon. Dramatically, I'm sure he wants to stay and have him work exclusively as a slot corner in nickel and dime packages… i know he was awful tackling and that Pittsburgh game. But he's usually a good fit against the run for a corner, and he's a tremendous blitzer. As big as weakness is getting caught on an island and deep routes, and that won't be much of an issue working from the slot exclusively.

  7. Hopefully the beat down that happened last night allowed people to see what a talent Kubiak is and why we need him… and hopefully a few of these Saleh Stan’s disabused themselves of the notion of him. To pass on Kubiak or some of these younger coaches for one of these available guys who have already lost will be remembered as another miss akin to McDonald.

  8. Yesterday was a good day, the Bills were eliminated, and the falcons hired Stephanski. I was so happy. The whole defense really can't be fairly evaluated. With the embarrassed lack of pass rush nobody could have succeeded behind Zach ORR. You mentioned Marlon had a good season two years ago. Who was the defensive coordinator Mc Donald.

  9. He's no Ed Reed – nobody will ever be but there is nobody on the current roster making interceptions like Marlon. You can pretty much count on him attempting to strip or catch the ball every time he's out there.
