The bright side here is the worse they look, the more it drives the idea home to ownership and management that this team really needs a full on rebuild.
Just watch Stenberg vs. McKenna YouTube videos instead. Enjoy the Olympics. We’ll probably still suck next year too, but at we should at least start seeing some forward progress. This year though – it’s gonna hurt.
I’ve come to terms with the tank, and hope we don’t get screwed in the lottery as usual, but damn it sucks to watch games like this.
I’m kinda enjoying it. It should be like this so someone can point to this if they ever try to speed things up or cut corners.

Sadly, this is what it’s going to take. This organization needs to see how far this team is from contending. Aquilini, in particular, needs to see it.

Podkolzin would be 4th on the canucks for scoring of we still had him.
Remember when they beat the Sharks 10-0 or something like that a couple years ago? Buckle up
What in God’s holy name have we done to deserve this? Did I not buy enough jerseys, hats, tickets over the past 35 years?
Dont worry guys we’ll have all thr no trade clauses off the books starting 2032. Just be patient.

I’m okay with the tank but this is just demoralizing for the players. We can still lose but the idea of cheering every goal against a team when it is 3-0, 4-0, 5-0 etc is just stupid. A loss is a loss. You don’t need to hope your team loses by an embarrassing margin every game.
We need a new owner.
I can see the NHL implementing tanking rules after this season…
Canucks will go on an 18 game heater to round out the season.
Seems like people who wanted a tank didn’t realize what a tank actually looks like. Embrace it, it’ll make the come up even better.

This team looked terrible last night. I want a rebuild but not necessarily a tank. The way this is looking we are building in the loser attitude. I am afraid we become the Buffalo Sabers. Years of good picks and still managed to stay losers. 14 years and counting no playoffs. 11 top 10 picks in that time. A rebuild is much more than a tank.
