  3. I also find it funny how people are mad about this. All 29 teams (no Thunder included) should hope we keep our pick, so OKC doesn’t get the 9th pick

  5. We’re just an easy target. Utah is a favorite punching bag of people both inside and outside of the state because it’s different and it has a dwindling but still prominent religion as a major part of the culture. Hating on the Jazz is an extension of that.

  7. It is hypocritical because Austin did say it and backtrack, but also, every competent franchise would do the same thing in our position.

    Also, news flash, teams are allowed to tank. There’s absolutely no NBA rule that mandates Nurkic play. The only player affected by any anti-tanking rule is Lauri, and he is also allowed to miss time for illness. He’s even allowed to occasionally miss time for rest as long as they try to do that for home games.
