  1. The Wizards can't keep taking on bad contracts if they plan on competing. Even first round picks don't account for cap flexibility and roster spots going away.

  2. Middleton and Branham for Sabonis and 2026 1st. Sabonis contract comes off the books before Sarr and the other picks and his year are up for contracts. And it gives us 2 shots at a Top 10 pick this year. Hopefully we get top 4 with one of this picks and then we draft an heir apparent guard for Trae or a backup center with the 2nd pick (Sac 1st rounder). I would be willing to give up our OKC pick or a future 1st to get the deal done. Having 2 picks in the top 10 of this years draft is a complete win. And we have Trae and Sabonis as our new Vets.

  3. I could see a Middleton for Jerami Grant (POR) 34mil 2026-27, 36mil 2027-28 for pick(s). I'd like to see Wiz just be apart of some sort of desperation situation…Warriors HAVING to get talent around Steph soon, Bucks NEEDING to commit to full rebuild, Lakers NEEDING something to keep Lebron happy. OTHERWISE I envision Dawkins using that cap space in the offeason for another Jonas like pickup in the frontcourt.

  4. I prefer the OD trade from okc . But he adds bloat to our wing core . We need more of a backup C. Maybe we can package all of our 2RP to the suns for Kaman Maluach the Suns are in a shocking winning season with no time to develop project players. Wizards has too many 2RP the suns can use to draft nba ready players now , the seniors/juniors of this upcoming draft. The more polished players ready to compete now

  5. Wizards can't make old organizational mistakes by overvaluing their players. Remember holding on to Bradley Beal too long set the team back for years.

  6. Never trade Big for small! Assuming similar talent level. How does Dillingham help us? I would not trade Bagley without a significant upgrade in return. Be smart not impulsive.

  7. Trae trade was not a win now move. That was just to try something new to enhance team interest and help the talent develop. I don't think he will be on the team for more than a season or two.
