  1. Get on the goalie all you want, but Leevi has shown he can play well at times. Yes the inconsistency is an issue, but from my perspective we've had (I'm pretty sure) one of the worst penalty kills in NHL history and it's been that way since the start of the year. It seems as though there's been little adjustment or change and thats been CONSISTENTLY BAD. Do they expect to make the playoffs, moreover win a round with the worst pk in the league?

CHANGE SOMETHING, FIRE SOMEONE, HIRE SOMEONE FOR THE PK…PLEASE.

  2. The Sens limited the Habs to 19 shots. They almost doubled them. But, Merilainen posted a woeful .688 Sv%. That was the story last year and the story again this year.

  3. Just rotate Soggar and Meralinain as back ups. Play Reimer for now, once Ully is back, rotate all 4 at this point. None of them are good (unless Reimer pulls a hamburglar)… Reimburglar … I like that.

  4. I can force myself to watch only a hand full of Sens game because I get so FKing mad yelling at the TV…….last night was 1 of those nights that I watched the whole nightmare.

  5. If the Atlantic teams around Ottawa continue to win, as they have been, Ottawa has already flushed the season away regardless of whether they turn it around or not. That's what hurts the most.

  6. Funny thing is Filip Grubauer might have bern available after a down season but he's killing it now in Seattle.

Feel so bad for you guys, what the fuck is Dave Poulin even doing here? He had a few team boosting interviews on TSN1200 and hasn't been seen since.

  7. We have failed Leevi. He has been absolutely misused and it will negatively impact him and his confidence. Truly goalie malpractice. This is not in Leevi.

  8. I keep saying European goalies are terrible in Ottawa and everybody argues with me. Just remember every North American goaltenders we let go and the success they had.

  9. I can't stop the 72-3 hate… 9/10 shifts of theirs result in turnovers, constant mismanagement of play… If it's not for Jensen falling on his ass, completely missing his guy or Chabot skating himself out of the play or his stupid no look board passes to nobody… You will see the same BS vs Detroit

  10. I get that Leevi is a professional athlete and needs to compete at a high level every day, but putting him in this position and then doing nothing to get other options to support him until way too late is serious management. This organization is so hellbent on ruining goalies

  11. I'm glad the spotlight has fully shifted to the management. Zero NHL experience, and it is starting to show. They may have been best in class in the OHL, but that isn't good enough for the show.

  12. It’s really sad to watch, however, this is a team that is battling adversity, and when things turn around in the crease, whether that is this year or next year, they will be quite good

  13. Blaming goaltending is easy. We all know that the Sens have 2 functional dpairs, with Chabot going like – 10 over 3 games. Goaltending is clearly a problem but it's not the only problem. The Sens dont play well with leads, thier dzone play is atrocious or awesome, no middle ground. Management made a huge mistake trusting Ullmark. But based on last year not that surprising. Yall are being surprisngly obtuse about the chronic problems that have plagued this team for years.

  14. I agree this is partly on Ullmark. To be physically healthy and watching your goalie partner get destroyed game in and game out is tough. When ie Ullmark coming back?

  15. Habs had good goals. cant put it all on merilanen. 3 he wants back? lol screens and deflections and a slapshot from the hashmarks to win . c'mon man. and what was chabot doin on the fourth goal trying to get offense when you are up two goals. win and lose as a team. sens are 3rd in the league in d zine giveaways . also chabot on the pk over commits up high leaving Caufield alone to walk in. compounding mistakes and blaming the goalie. those two plays by chabot cost ya the game not merilanen. Sanderson calling out a rookie goalie thrown into the starter position is a loser reaction. shows what the culture is like amongst the sens players. esy to see why they are inconsistent. sens locker room is a mess . merilanen didnt even see andersons goal. watch the replay man. Ottawa's problem is in the locker room

  16. ,750 could have won the game. Levi is a nice young man and a good goalie but he is not a superstar. You say he's young but Patrick Roy won the Stanley when he was 20 years old. Let him take experience in the AHL. The big mistake was to give 8+ millions to Ullmark. IMO he is not an elite goalie. He can steal some games just like any NHL goalie but he is not consistent enough. We need a solid .905 goalie not a has been Vezina.

  17. Yes they played such a good game and against Montreal with thr CTC full of Canadian's fans. The players must be disgusted not by Levi but by the administration who can't find a decent goalie. It's not correct that such a good team can't make the playoffs.

  18. "vezina winning goalie" i hate when goalies get glazed when theyre on one of the most defensively structured and disciplined teams of all time. that bruins teams was insanely good on the defensive side of the puck which helped Ullmark. dont get your heads too big
