Josh Allen also has no WR. Cooks is his go to guy & he hasn't been even a #2 in the league for 5 years. Plus he's like 5ft 7in. I feel like without Allen that Bills team wins 5 games.
Bad calls
You can’t criticize Allen if you’re arguing that the pass in overtime by Josh was a completion and the Bills were screwed by the refs. That would have led to a game winning score for the Bills. He also drove his team down the field for the game tying FG in regulation with 50 seconds left. Tell me this. Would you take Josh Allen as your starting quarterback? I love you Andy but that take is unfair.
This was the best chance for Allen and the Bills to get to the Super Bowl and they again couldn't. So, it doesn't look like Allen will ever get that ring for the Bills. As for Peyton, hate to see Nix getting hurt and out for the rest of the season, but this might be karma for the bounty gate he put on us back in 2009. He got that one Super Bowl ring and he hasn't been back to the big game since. We also knocked him out of the playoffs twice! 😂
BountyGate. Never forget, never forgive.
The thing about Josh Allen: He plays like a Hall of Famer for 99 out of 100 plays. But the 1 play he doesn't is the most bone-headed, mind-boggling mistake you could think of. That fumble before halftime…..
Or go back to 2022. The QB Sneak fumble Eric Kendricks TD. We had no business winning that game, but Josh handed it to us.
Broncos won it but in bills defense two major miss calls by the refs imo. One in the endzone was clearly a pass interference but refs didnt call it and the second was that crazy catch/fumble strip. The receiver was clearly down. It was a close one but shpulda probably been a reception player down. Lastly what luck the Broncos have to win it and lose Bo Nix?.. WoW! I honestly think broncos are the least likely of the bunch to move forward. For obvious reasons. BUT.. Darnold ughh what were we thinking?.. SKOL!!!🏈🏈💨💨
Gambling has ruined college football when was the last time you heard a player talking about his education now it's all about getting paid.
I’m a life long Vikings fan that lives in the buffalo area, my entire family + most of my friends are bills fans. The Vikings and bills are literally the same team: both have 4 Super Bowl appearances and no wins, both consistently get fucked by the refs or fuck themselves in the playoffs, I could go on..
The NFL is rigged
The criminal Payton payed the refs
It was scripted for them to lose Buffalo that is , I would say they already know who they want in the Super Bowl and who is going to win it too !
The refs were looking for a way to give it to the broncos its plain as day
The refs are there to make games exciting that is all.
Hmmm..maybe the NFL has a narrative. I dislike old men being refs. They are the pawns. Just sayin!
The same thing happened in our home game against the Bears with Nailor.
Catch knee down and touched
If Sam Donald win. The Super Bowl is Kevin o’Connell the problem for the Vikings ?
Between the “process of a catch” and the “indisputable video evidence” there is a cause for that INT standing as called. This is why the NFL needs to do a better job of having transparency so we don’t have to be asking these questions.
Can't blame one play. There are plenty of times to put away a game in good fashion (scoring) or bad (penalties).
The clip though! 😂
It's really really sad that the best player of this generation, maybe even the best we've ever seen in pro football, will likely never win a Super Bowl.
And players he is clearly better than will be placed above him because they were in better situations.
Championships only decide who the best individual players are if their circumstances are the same. You plug Josh Allen into KC and he might have 5 rings because he's more suited than Mahomes to overcome poor OL play.
9:32 Looks like Kevin James
Yes! There is too much inconsistency in calling. Everything is rife for a betting scandal, the league needs well paid, well trained officials and a review process that can hold them accountable for calls. (Much like the Premier League).
It was a great game till the refs had to go with what Vegas wants
Josh Allen has poor receivers. I would rather have Josh Allen than any of our QBs. I would trade the same for Josh as I would for Burrow or Jackson.
Gambling and AI are now huge foundations of the American economy. Yes gambling has always been a background to the economics of pro football. But now it’s right in your face. No way that doesn’t continue to increase pressure on this entertainment.
Also the Bills got screwed on that first DPI call on the last Broncos drive.
Our GM got fleeced by Sean Payton. God Kwesi sucks at drafting. Cant believe he botched the Sam Darnold deal. Kwesi wishes jj would turn into what Darnold is but sends Darnold packing?? So dumb. Not to mention. He hasn't drafted 1 single pro bowler yet. Yes the kicker is all pro but thats it?? Unbelievable.. How is Kwesi still the GM?
I don't know what would have been worst, missing the playoffs or losing 42 to 6 to sam darnold, probably making the playoffs
Why are people surprised what happens in the National Fixed League? It's all by design.
I’m older than you and a bitter Vikings fan who does not want to see anyone without an SB get one before us.
He is down
Two many bad calls
Why do I get the feeling Addison is going to be a bill? Like not even jokingly saying, just wondering?
I am sorry, but that was an INT. Do we really have to go over this again. The receiver has to survive the ground. He did not. How do I know he did not survive the ground? Because the defender had the ball. The exception to this rule is if the receiver makes a "football move" prior to hitting the ground. If the receiver was able to make a "football move", then he would have been down the second his knee hit the ground. No "football move" was made.
Well said Andy! I agree 100% re officiating ,the potential influence of gambling on the game, and Tom Pelissero's pathetically lame 'Twitter' post. As I said commented yesterday, the supposed INT, the PIs that were called & the PI's that were not called in the 4th quarter & in OT were totally inconsistent with what the officials have been calling all year….and I have to comment more on the issue!🤔
As Andy's graphic shows, the Bills WR had both hands on the ball & his knee & shin were on the ground. What I saw during the playhe WR had more than a momentary possession of ball from just before his knee & shin touched the ground, and, then, as the knee/shin contacted the ground (which meant it was the instant the play ended as the DB was in contact with the WR). Finally, the WR maintained possession of the ball as he fell to the ground.🤔
It was only AFTER these steps in the process of catching & maintaining possessing did the ball get ripped from the WR's hands by the DB. All of this was obvious to me during the play, and it was even more obvious during the replay. So, even if the officiating crew missed the right call on the field, there was absolutely no excuse for the replay booth to screw it up.🤬
Last, it seemed as if the replay process was exceptionally rushed. Usually, booth reviews for crucially important plays take an exceptionally long time to be completed, the head of the officiating crew takes time to get the booth's explanation for their decision, then the head of the officiating crew takes the time to explain the decision to each HC & then to the crowd in attendance. This did not occur, and I really wonder why!
There is no doubt in my mind that the Bills got totally screwed by that call, and in all likelihood, the Bills would have gotten the game winning FG if that catch had been allowed by the officiating crew & replay blooth. Then, to add insult to injury, the officiating crew made more inconsistent (questionable) calls to help the Broncos get into FG position!🤬
IMHO, even the most reasonably-minded, knowledgable NFL fan must think that there was something fishy about the officiating in OT. Were the officials told to help the Broncos or screw the Bills? Were they told to finish OT as quickly as possible because the second televised game that night needed to start a.s.a.p.? Whatever the reason for the incompetent & inconsistent officiating, Andy is right, this was an absolute travesty!🤬
