Did Steve Bisciotti HINT At Next Ravens Head Coach?

Steve Bisciotti made a hint at the press conference this week on who the Ravens could be looking for in their Head Coach search. Could we see a former Head Coach, get a second chance? Ryan, Zach and Josh of the Next Network discuss the topic.

  1. Yall are reading into this too much he’s simply saying that they arnt going to disqualify coaching rejects that have failed on failing teams. Thats it that doesn’t mean they are getting a former hc, they could still go the new coach route. Look at the pool of coaches they have requested thy are turning over every stone and are going to pick the best people that they see fit for the job. Also a big piece of this scenario is who are they bringing with them that may be more important than the guy himself. I like Flores as an individual over Saleh but Saleh has a better pipeline of coaches that we can poach. I want Lamar in the shannahan system and Saleh can still get that for us even being a defensive coach

  2. Want another example of what Steve is describing? How about some guy named Bill Belichick…was the NYG DC then hired/fired by the Browns as HC, then went back being a DC before being hired by NE as HC in 2000. I’d say that was a pretty good 2nd act as a head coach!

  3. I think they are taking way too long to make this decision. I think Kubiak is the move and it sounds like Atlanta is already about to offer him… if they wait much longer the best candidates will be gone…

  4. He just said he’s open to them. Not that is who he wants. I still think a guy with a losing record is a red flag, no matter what. Also the 9ers had a worse pass rush win rate than us this year. Not sure he can scheme a pass rush. 49ers just have a great LB core and secondary.

  5. Why not just make Lamar Jackson a player coach, seems he’s going to be making all of decisions anyway….rename the team too…” The Baltimore Drama Queens “…..or get. Marine Drill Instructor type coach that won’t coddle or put up with any BS….

  6. Saleh defenses are average…not great. Poor QB play or not…his teams weren't good. You can't say the same about Flores, who had the Fins just under .500 with poor QB play.
