CJ Stroud sucks AND Nick Caley sucks.
Sad toro noises 🙁
At this point who feels worse of not taking advantage of this window? Us or the Bills?
Everyone’s gonna talk about the INTs but how many Stroud passes were thrown into the dirt at his receiver’s toes and said receiver had to dive to the ground (no chance for YAC) or kneel down and even then the ball often hit the turf first. Happened like 6 or 7 times.
Hear me out….
Trade for Baker Mayfield.
Done with this offense. Done with CJ. Wish I could trade in my CJ jersey.
At this point, just hope that our entire defense comes back and can replicate what they did this season. Good news is we should be stunting on defenses with Tank, Higgins, and Nico back. I don’t think Mixon is going to be a Texan next year, it is really strange for a player to be injured for a whole year and never hear updates about him.
Honestly don’t know what to do with CJ, looked devoid of confidence and missed so many throws. Maye played in the same weather and was throwing dots. If he wants to accept the fifth year option and play for his spot that is fine but if he asks for a big contract we should trade him.
L you guys blow
Well you have to rethink if CJ is the future QB or not after a bed shitting like that.
Demeco is all smiles.
If his hand ain’t fucking broken or something I’m mad at Stroud. Our defense needs to be locked up. Especially our secondary. Bring Hunter back, and fucking draft an offensive lineman
C stroud
I’m just here to read the doom and gloom and laugh. CJ needs a sports psychologist just like Framber Valdez has. It’s helped him. He just panics unnecessarily and makes really bad decisions. When he’s composed, he is the man. He is still better than any option out there in free agency and this draft is light on QBs. It’s not just him. No stud RB since Mixon is out. Probably won’t play another Texans down again. Marks is alright. Need another top level receiver. QB protection got noticeably better towards the season. He certainly was sacked less this season. Overall Stroud is still the QB for the foreseeable future. Caley is mid. However I think he’ll still be here unfortunately. Would’ve loved to get McDaniel.
No significant changes will happen coaching wise. Stroud is a really good QB. Noticeably better than current options out there. I enjoyed the season and will be back next year too. Go Texans!
This one is so demoralizing, like I don’t know what we do next year, CJ is here so feel like we roll him out again and that just results in a repeat of this year.
I really don’t see him figuring it out at this point
Another year. Another great unit wasted by their compatriot. Another year of free agents, picks, and coach changes. A year of 17 weeks of heart taxing games. And another second round exit in disappointing fashion.

I posted this on the other complaint thread about CJ but I’ll also post it here:
I know we didn’t have collins and schultz went down but:
20/47 1td 4ints QBR:21.0
In a playoff game?! I mean come on, at the very least he’s incredibly unclutch and freezes like a scared bunny in big games and I’m not interested in us holding his hand.
He’s not even a good game manager. All we had to do was not turn the ball over and kick field goals and we could have won that game 100%
Look at it this way… if we do a contract with cj, we’ll be getting him at a discount compared to if he’d won the Super Bowl.
If I were in charge, I’d make the offense better. Not too hard. Done it in retro bowl many times
Browns fan here with a question: do y’all think the Texans took proper advantage of the assets acquired from the Watson trade? Do yall think you guys squandered them?
Generational defense not good enough…
Xavier Hutchinson doesn’t catch well and doesn’t separate. I know we love our Iowa State guys but surely we can find a reliable replacement at WR 4
As a a pats fan you guys played well i was very nervous. Stroud seems good and got the ball off quickly i found myself feeling bad for him as the game progressed.
Can we ask for an investigation into stroud just for this post season?
I’m getting straight mcnabb in Washington vibes.
Also if I’m casserio, I do whatever it takes to retain the starting 11 on defense and guys like Barnett/togai/to’o’to’o/speed
This defense was being called the legion of boom 2.0 and now it will be forgotten in the history books because the offense and CJ stroud really, couldn’t finish
Caley dialed up some good plays but stroud couldn’t connect
Need our boys to learn how to play in any given weather
Glad I swore off buying jerseys after my JJ Watt. That rookie year run almost had me.
I don’t feel pain anymore.
I don’t feel anything.
Being the team to start 0-3 and still make the playoffs multiple times would be cool if we could win in the divisional fucking round
Same as it ever was
Hindsight is 20/20 but I kinda wish we just took WAJ and ended up with a QB from last year’s draft class. Hell I’d gladly take Bo Nix over Stroud at this point.
Neutral fan who likes CJ, tough game. I’m not sure where the blame is but CJ just doesn’t feel like the QB I watched his rookie season. His anticipation throws are off, he’s constantly throwing balls that are up for grabs, and he can’t seem to hit a receiver in stride. Really feel like you guys need a better QB coach and OC. Good luck Texans bros
GO ROCKETS 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Bums
Immediately after the game, I posted a Thank You to the Texans for the season, and someone replied “stfu, r—–” except they spelled out all the words. When I clicked on the reply to go block the guy, his response was gone.
Thank you, Mods.
Then I looked for the guy’s profile so I could block it directly. His account was wiped out, completely gone.
Thank you, Reddit.
Eight turnovers in two games is not winning football.
Man, I’m hurting still. First time I’ve really had to accept that Stroud might not be it. Love the guy, but he’s the biggest reason we aren’t going to the AFC Championship (and likely the Super Bowl). I’ve been a big defender…not sure how I feel now.
So are the Texans part of the Pats’ weak schedule?
