I have no issues with the Brewers’ L flag, the Cubs fans then making fun of them for getting rolled by the Dodgers, and now us clowning the Bears for their cheese grater hats, etc.

Ben Johnson started this season in thick fashion by calling out that he just wants to beat Matt LeFleur. When he lost the first match up, MLF snubbed him at the mid-field handshake. So, he kicked it up a notch and snubbed back over the next 2 victories over the Packers – including the playoff win last week. What he forgets is that in the last 10 years against the Packers, the Bears are 3-17. In 20 years 10-30, and in 30 years 15-45. I believe the Packers still own the Bears. They still suck – and Fuck the Bears.

Yay, the rivals who knocked out the football team that plays in our state lost? Yay the city that hosts the baseball team we hate lost? Literally everything is about being petty these days, so this feels tired to me.

Hahah. Yup. Lots of parallels there. How many of us brewers fans felt like the season was a success once we beat the cubs in the playoffs? I know I did. Losing to the Dodgers sucked but the season was insanely fun and we won the first brewers/cubs playoff matchup so everything after that was just gravy.
Im sure bears fans felt the same way. They had a great season and a crazy playoff comeback to beat the packers. Thats a memorable season no matter what. Talk all the shit you want if you win. Thats part of the rivalry. Thats why the games mean more.
The only losers are the cubs or packers fans who acted like the winning team was classless for celebrating. Fuck that

The Brewers v Cubs rivalry was carrying the Wisconsin Illinois rivalry so now that the Bears have a competent coach it’ll only make the rivalries better. I think I’ll always hate the cubs more cause of how much of a joke the bears have been almost my entire life
