Im surprised given the injuries that it’s taken this long to see Patera back in Vancouver. Let Tolo get more playing time in Abby as the top goalie prospect and feed Patera to the wolves as the tank trudges on.
Was Mancini that bad? as D-Petey couldn’t even make it in the line up some nights.
Tolo was great. Why do this?

Why the fuck do they always do this after practice?

I’m in favour of sending all the young dmen down for the rest of the season and bringing up AHL vets to do all this losing.
The AHL squad will get better. The young defenders will get lots of minutes in the A to develop and avoid the train wreck up here.
Why are they calling up Patera. Abbotsford plays today in Coachella and Abbotsford had to sign Kevin Bligh to an amateur contract to backup tonight. Can’t see any stats on this guy so likely just a beer league goalie, just so you can swap AHL goalies? I understand farm teams are gonna get fucked on call ups but this one make 0 sense and is a bad look IMO.
tolopilo has suffered, but are we gonna ignore Patera’s last start was an 8 spot against?
Headed to the frontline.
Not going to change a thing. I cant believe I thought this could be a playoff team at the the beginning of season.
