Steelers continue their head coach search and will bring in more Steelers head coach candidates. The latest is the Steelers plan to interview Mike McCarthy… He’s a Pittsburgh native, has ties to Omar Khan, and obviously has ties to Aaron Rodgers, who the Steelers still want to return for another year. This would be a terrible hire and right back to what the Steelers have been doing for years under Mike Tomlin. Chasing old glory and thinking it’ll make them championship contenders. Don’t do it Art!   23. Here's the statistics Rooney probably wants shattered and that's Bill Cowher's 108 wins 1 loss and 1 tie halftime lead victory.

    Now unless we get a new NFL Commissioner and some of these rules go back to say 1990 era of play then I'm not sure how that record is going to be shattered because in today's NFL it's almost always under 17 points before halftime

  29. If the Steelers hire Mike McCarthy, I'll continue my boycott. I don't want any of those coaches from the old NFL who try to win with 90s mindset. We need a modern head coach from the new NFL. I don't care if he's offense- or defense-minded, as long as he hires good coordinators and lets them do their job.

    The same goes for Brian Flores, by the way… He's better than McCarthy and would certainly be a fantastic defensive coordinator. But please, not as head coach!
