  1. I honestly don't believe the Jays need any other players at this point . Later on they can always make a trade if needed and they have a lot of talent that is tradeable without having to give up any frontline players .

  2. He hit .909 ops in Yankee stadium and below league averages in the rest of the league. He only hits well in the smaller parks, he would be a disaster on the Jays in Rogers Center.

  3. Best Plan B 😂
IMO jays need a outfielder especially since Springer and Varsho are off the books after this season. Bellinger can also play first which can give them plenty options on defence

  4. Can Okomota play left field? If so, here is an idea, sign, 3B Eugenio Suárez. Not really a prototypical Jays player, verrrrry swing & miss, but he could anchor the 5-6 spot in the line up. This only works if Kazuma Okamoto can be converted to left field, or possibly, Suarez can play 2nd base? This could be a deadly line up if this works out. Thinking outside the box…

  5. The focus should have been Bo – it wasn't – Jays miss-out BIG. You're not beating the Dodgers with offense.
Right now the focus should be pitching-pitching-pitching, and more pitching. The starting depth is deepest I have seen since the WS years, concentrate on Tieds becoming healthy (DON'T turn him into a pen guy) – go get your pen as stout as your starting staff. You have money (if needed) trade for guys with price tags (although we all know with Shatkins he is willing to overpay with prospect getting awful ROV) but get it done. NOT Varland types you have a vision for in the future, go get guys that get it done today, they don't have to be big ticket guys, but guys who win. This also means down in Buffalo, pump up the pitching staff, get it stout, make the competition heavy – you're going to need the depth in July, August, September and going into playoffs. You want to beat the Dodgers then you must out Defensive them and it begins with pitching. See where things are at in the season, and if you need a bat, trade for one. There's plenty of offensive to get the team through the first months and take it from there – usually an "unusual" steps up and becomes a welcomed stick.

  6. Trade any or all of Lukes, Schneider, Santander, Loperfido, Straw, Berrios, Francis and a few prospects for Tatis and Miller. Pipe dream, but it’s better than Tucker and Diaz would’ve been by far. I think the Jays could provide a package that could get them both. Otherwise stay pat for now.

  7. Jays should give Belli 6 years .. the AAA free agents are going to get ridiculous money .. so grab the A free agents and lock them up.
Jays need a quality lefty bat in the 2hole that also offers great defence.
Remember it was Varsho who grounded out with IKF on 3rd.
Jays lefty bats let them down in the World Series.

  8. We got egg on our face with the Tucker thing and LA as that is ridiculous. He just took a bag.

Bo was pissed not getting respect and, rightfully so, moved on.

That's Mets deal was a revenge f*uck from Cohen.

If we have a chance to get Bellinger for 6-7 years for $215M, it will add a bat to this potent lineup and takes him away from the Yanks.

    That is my take…

  9. "Everything is lining up perfectly for the Jays" He says for the 1 millionth time this offseason. None of it happened but I guess if you say it enough times you will be right eventually
