  1. Some new Bellinger news. Bowden is reputable. First we’re really hearing of the Yankees trying to get Bellinger to come back with a signing bonus over years or AAV. Also seems like there is no market if he’s likely coming back to the Yankees (who aren’t changing their AAV/years).

  6. I’ll be glad if Cody re-signs. I understand all the frustration with how dragged out this has been, the intrigue of playing the young guys, and even the hopeless feeling that other teams have lapped us, but I still want to give Judge the best shot possible at winning next season. It’s easier to do that with Bellinger than without.

  9. Can’t help but wonder if they pivot hard to some kind of trade to put a strong bat in front of Judge. Has there been any word on whether or not Tatis is available if there was some kind of godfather offer?

    “Let’s see what the kids can do” is cope. I’m always intrigued by young guys, but my gut tells me Jones is a strikeout machine and Dominguez hits .250 and plays shit defense. If we didn’t have an Aaron Judge sized championship window slowly closing, I’d feel better about seeing what the youths can do.
