Sometimes National reporters can sound a little uninformed on certain parts of a specific organization, but I actually think this is a really quality discussion on the Red Sox as a whole. A pretty enjoyable listen in my opinion.
I think it’s a fascinating quote from Cora to say that he’s letting Bres do the job. I wonder if Cora learned some things after being what appeared to be a not insignificant part of what got Bloom fired. I also wonder if this signals Cora’s faith in Breslow, which is a huge win from my perspective
I was unaware that Suarez, post season, is ranked 6th in all of MLB and history for lowest ERA with over 40 IPs
