Truth hurts

  1. You know who else had the easiest schedule….. The 99 rams……how did that go/team turn out?

  2. Bro who cares, you can only beat the team directly in front of you. Not their fault if there are injuries or bad performances.

  3. Truth does hurt…and right now a lot of people are hurt by the truth that the Patriots are good again. And so they make these posts to cope with it.

  4. Stroud has six ints in six starts and four of them were last night.

Saying it’s “schedule” whenever they have a good game against a good team is weapons-grade copium.

  5. Giants fan here.. their turnaround is amazing .. they’re winning the games they should with defense and ball
control. Vrabel was the perfect choice for that team.

  6. So did the 2001 Patriots. And they played the rams against an MVP QB with an offensive guru as a head coach.

  7. Oh NOW it’s “4 INT CJ Stroud” when before the game it was “oh the Texans defense is so good no way the Pats can keep up, the have a generational defense”

  8. Is this college football? It’s not like they are purposely making an easy schedule like Notre Dame.

  9. I’m a Dolphins fan but these arguments are just cope from jealous fans. The history books don’t have asterisks.

People don’t shit on the Eagles’ win because they played against CMC at QB. People don’t shit on the 2004 Pats win because TO had a broken leg. You can play this game with most Super Bowl wins but history doesn’t care.

Also bad QBs with a good defense have made the Super Bowl and then after that Pats still have to beat a very good Seahawks or Rams team.

  10. I guess it’s also the schedule that threw and caught Boutte’s and Diggs’ clutch TD? And the schedule that caused the coaching staff to turn this franchise around?

  11. The Patriots are 100% back. Proof? It’s not the 16 wins, the playoff run, Maye’s elite deep ball accuracy, Vrabel’s coaching, the top ten defense, quick turn around, the fact that the Pats are one of the most complete, balanced teams in the league, or any of the dozens of other impressive stats they’ve piled up this year.

No. I know for a fact that the Pats are back because every day I look online and see copium like this being screamed by a league that is scared to death of the possibility that the Patriots are good again. The cherry picked stats, disingenuous arguments, and straight trash takes are glorious. It’s like Brady is back. Keep screaming, it warms my heart.

  12. Don’t forget the Texans were playing without their starting water boy. Their hydration was severely hampered due to his hang nail.

  13. Such cope. I know it sucks to see the Patriots back so quick but no one will care about any of this BS if they win it all. Acting like the Harbaugh Chargers and insane Texans D weren’t top 10 competition. They’ve won 2 playoff games now, no other argument matters
