We got Okamoto, I believe he's going to surprise a lot of Jays fans, look at his stats, very impressive and yeah I know he's in the best league now but he's not a rookie, he's been around, he's been in big games and come through. And the pitching staff has really improved so OK, we lost Bo, we didn't get Tucker thats fine, like I said before, if everyone plays to their potential and stays healthy, we're going to be fine, plus losing those guys will allow last years Jays more playing time, we still have a great roster that has the potential to compete at the highest level. I'm looking forward to the season and lets see what happens.

28. Yakamoto should have shown every Jays fan elite pitching > elite offense. Adding an Ace would effectively counter Tuckers signing. Detroit wants an MLB ready starter & prospect haul for Skubal. Dodgers supposedly moved their focus to Peralta probably because their top 3 prospects are OF. The 40m Jays were going to spend on Tucker, put it toward Skubal. Jays had a potent offense without BO, Tucker or Santander to reach the WS. A Skubal – Gausman – Cease – YeSavage – Bieber rotation would give the Jays every chance to win without having to tilt the scoreboard.

31. I honestly like the Jays discipline spending money. I don’t think Cody is worth it, but at the same time, theory goes so far, then greed takes over. Cody WOULD make sense for a longer deal, maybe a higher offer than Yankees makes sense. And hoping he fits in with the clubhouse.

35. He hits well at yankee stadium with the short fence. Not so good away from there. For sure he is a decent player, but not elite. They should focus on Arraez. Blue Jay type player. Hits everything and plays 1,2nd and 3rd. Very versatile like Ernie so when the injuries come, like Bo, Schneider can move guys wherever he wants. Did I mention batting champion!!!
