  4. Can they not just write some incentives into Belli's offer? Like hit 100 HRs in your first three years and we'll give you a bonus and extend you another year at good AAV? I don't mind paying more or going longer with a deal if its 2023-2025 Belli and not 2021-2022 Belli cashing the checks

  8. Offer Bellinger $10 million a year and drop it a million every day until he signs…or doesn't sign….who cares???? They didn't win with him last year. Why would they miraculously be any better with him THIS year…let alone over the next 5 years or 7 years or whatever dumb contract they will almost definitely give him? Five years from now, the ENTIRE team will be aging designated hitters and first basemen. They lost with Soto when Judge had an MVP season and Cole was healthy. I mean….MAYBE…the problem isn't who plays outfield in 2026.

  27. This is in case they have to play the Martian and left. Which I don’t think is a bad idea. I think they need to see what they have in this kid and I think they need to play them every single day. They can use Seth for late defensive protection. Tell Cody to go pound sand.
