As a fins fan, I’m very unhappy with this hire. GM hires a buddy, a failure at BC. Ross drooled all over this and that’s a bad sign. Because Ross can’t do anything right.
After all he did such a great job as the DC for the Packers in the Bears playoff game. But then again he has Aikman and Marino stamp of approval.
They chose Hafley because he’s buddies with the new GM Sullivan. The interview process was a sham and disrespectful to all of the other candidates, some more qualified than Hafley, who wasted their time interviewing. The fix was in when Sullivan became GM. Most Dolphins fans think he is a terrible hire. The dysfunction in this organization continues.
Dolphins fan since 79 this is insanity 😳
Philbin 2.0
Ive been rooting for a dysfunctional organization for 40 years. The Miami Middlers.
None of these people who posted listened to this video. They only know negativity cause that’s who they are. Good video, appreciate the good insight.
😂🤣😂
Not my first choice, but if he gets Willis and a good offensive and defensive coordinators, he might do alot better than people think. Harbaugh wasnt coming here and i didnt want him anyway. Every canditate was going to be hit or miss, so stay positive! Not like we have massive talent on this team 😂
If we get solid players in draft, its a big win from Grier.
We havent won a playoff game in forever, so I'll stay positive, never know
😉
Not a great hire, by any measure.
He was okay at Boston College. He’s not going to get the Dolphins competitive with the Bills and Patriots without a a better quarterback.
I will believe it when I see it
Im sorry
All part of the plan. IMO the new GM since he wants to build the draft is gonna flunk Hafley next year (especially with the schedule) because 2027 will have really good draft picks.
He is a great young coach – but Miami has destroyed every coach they've had for 40 years. They currently have a salary cap problem and very little talent. Good luck to him!
Tough division though!
Well I'm sure your full court, PR Campaign for Hafley certainly helped. Meanwhile his resume isn't on the level with Flores and he gets minimal press from you.
I can see it now…Jeff is going to go into his "get in" spiel at his introductory press conference. He is still too close to his stint at Boston College to be elevated to HC at the NFL level so soon. The Dolphins will find this out rather quickly.
This is a terrible hire.
Admittedly, Bert Breer does a really good job of selling this one lol
As a Longtime dolphin fan, I'm not happy about this hire. If you a nebie Dolphin fan you think why be so negative? The history behind the dolphins since ross owned the team is the real issue. The reasons behind them not singing a experienced Nfl coach is what coach would wanna coach here.
Every potentially coach knows having a qb is the #1 reason to go to a particular destination. We dont have a qb,or the ability to draft a game changing one.
This team is totaly capped out. Gotta cut alot of good players just to get under the cap.
Our owner who cannot help himself in meddling in teams addairs, wich is well documented, has cost us high draft picks.
So the hiring of Sullivan's Grean bay buddy is cocerning. Just another in a long list of coaches with no NFL head coaching experience . So the optics are not good.
So I would say to sullivan if this is the one you want to hire go for it. But after 4 years if he fails, you and your Green Bay buddy are out tge door.
