Just the same Giants news that's been talked about recently, but I found a couple of things noteworthy.
Apparently, Bryce had a bone spur removed on his left wrist that I might have missed hearing about during the offseason. I knew he had some injuries last season in the minors, so hopefully, this cleans him up for the upcoming season.
Also, I love the confidence and loyalty he shows in his statements from Fanfest. I can't wait to see his improvements for this year.
Is anybody worried about his wrist issue lingering during the spring or worried about his name coming up in trade talks?

Utterly unworried.
Fans would be dismayed to learn the number of hometown heroes that come up all the time in conversation between GMs. It would be irresponsible for teams not to inquire or explore potential deals. Even the Red Sox and rival Yankees once discussed a Joe DiMaggio-for-Ted Williams swap.
It’s probably good that we don’t know. One can only imagine how notoriously fickle fan bases would react, years later, if they learned which deals were floated, which were turned down, and just how close their favorite player came to wearing a Miami Marlins uniform.
Plz don’t trade him for one season of Nico Hoerner or the guy from the Cards
