  1. Jeff Hafley is actually a very good coach.

He is a very smart and educated coach. He speaks well and conducts himself in a very respectable manner.

He isn't cocky. He doesn't cuss to sound bigger than he is or cool. He is respectable and knows how to get a lot out of his players.

Go watch his press conferences. Listen to how he breaks down his defensive schemes and game plans. The defense is absolutely going to improve. If you look at all the teams in the playoffs and also that remain in the final 4, they all have top 10 defenses. It is not an accident that they are still alive.

  3. Miami crazy. Got a coach who got fired in Boston…now he is reward a Job in the NFL and a head coach… it crazy why Miami again can pick up a coach..
They are going loose again …we going to suck again…why you keep trying to say he good…no proff…He defense fell apart. That's especially against the Bears. They were bad..
My thoughts stand again in any worse. We were 1 and 6 at 1 time, but everybody can remember this. And I wish they had Mcdaniel

  4. What a joke both were in GB. they going to be bad and try to draft a Qb..
And he noise how to lose. GB lost 5 out of 6..
If you look successful coaches come from successful teams period McDonald was with Baltimore before he went to Seattle, Baltimore was successful. And the new england head coach and the tines and the titans in the playoffs… And Payton won a super bowl..
You have to pick successful coaches to have a successful team.Miami's gonna lose.I guess try to get a quarterback and work from that

  5. I wanted Chris Shula. This was a chance to reverse the Shula curse. We have not been a true player since they fired Don Shula and brought in Jimmy Johnson. Since the Robbies sold the team, we have been the laughingstock of the leave. I am tired of talking about 1972. We used to be the winningest franchise in sports. Just let that sink in. I will give him a chance, but I am not impressed. This GM needs to know this is not Green Bay, this is South Beach. They need to bring better players and quit drafting hurt azz players like Grier did in his tenure.

  6. Jeff hafley????? Really??? Guys about as dynamic as three toed sloth…. WTF??? Guy shit the bed as a head coach at Boston college and now he's a head coach I'm the NFL. Welcome to mediocrity again Miami Dolphins! This is a pathetic hire. Jeff Hafley. I'm still in disbelief…..been a fish fan since Marino days. Fan no longer.

  7. Never been a head coach in the NFL….Avg record at Boston College. OHHHH Happy Days are here again. You keep giving us fans this, we see you!!!! Now see how long we show up at losing games . Don't make sense…….

  8. Dolphins 7 wins 10 losses Packers 9 wins 7 losses 1 tie. And these guys were never GM or Head Coach………..Really ? You needed a consultant for these hires ? Is you CRAZY !!!!

  9. I'd love to get either Kliff Kingsburry or Brian Dabol as our offensive coordinator! I believe they'd be good fits. And I'd like for the Dolphins to retain Anthony Weaver ad our defensive coordinator.

  10. Alright don't come on the podcast in the middle of next season, tear your jersey off and go "I'm done with the Dolphins…" Hold them accountable right now for these hires. Troy I'm sorry they got you involved with this.

  11. Miami let's run up the middle on first downs every time we get the ball, then let's throw a screen pass, that doesn't work.idoits.try rolling the quarterback to the side with let's say a tightend,or another play that works is the pitch back to the running backs.come on man.

  12. Really sorry to see Hafley go from Greenbay, the guy did a number on our Defense. Took them from bottom of the league to one of the best when injuries hit us hard. Good luck Jeff!!!!!
