  1. You are the guys who keep this crap alive ,stop it.I will unsubscribe if you keep talking about trading Nico .We don't want to hear no more about trading Nico nip it in the bud. 😮

  2. Nobody cares about whether Nico has power or not. It's such a stupid narrative in today's baseball. Shaw > Schmidt so that makes zero sense w/ all infield spots spoken for.

  3. Keep Nico …Trade Shaw before he becomes a problem with his attachment to Turning Point USA … if we keep Nico …. it gives us the best infield in baseball … 👽👽👽

  4. There has GOT to be something else to talk about. These trade packages are shit. The giants have nothing we need. Nico is an absolute beast, and a fan favorite. You keep those guys, always.

  5. Stop the videos about trading Nico! The Cubs should resign him and make him Captain of the team. He is to the Cubs what Jeter was to the Yankees. He is a solid player who loves baseball and the great majority of Cub fans love Nico!

  6. The Cubs got a bat to replace Kyle Tucker, but what cost???? we got a player who who actively participated in one of the worst and I mean one of the worst cheating scandals and all baseball and it was done over two years at least
There were suspensions and the Astros lost draft picks over two years, but the punishment did not fit the crime that should’ve been more severe players that participate in. It should’ve been suspended for at least 2 to 3 years and they say that they’re sorry for what they did, I questioned that I believe they were sorry that they were caught not for what they did and we signed a player who participated in that what message are we sending? It’s indicative as to what it’s happening in this country the end who justifies any in all means to achieve what you wanna achieve it’s OK to break rules and to break the wall. If you can get away with it, I from one belief, character, integrity matter, and it shouldn’t matter with the Chicago Cubs organization for the bottom all the way up to the top come sign a hell of a baseball player at third base there’s no doubt about that but it has an individual have a person of character and integrity. They signed a big zero I’m not gonna see any more in it but it’s done it’s done, but let’s just say I lost a little respect for the Cubs organization in baseball.

  7. So…We have to give up Nico because we signed Bregman? Fine…Trade Bregman and give NICO that money then. If you DONT have money for NICO…Shouldn’t have signed Bregman! NICO is our homegrown player and does everything you ask of that man. To NOT pay him only shows incompetence.

  8. We don't need to encourage or otherwise seem supportive of this trade. We got slightly, marginally better by adding Bregman…we don't need to then get significantly worse trading Nico. If we don't have 60 wins by the All-Star break, then trade them all off. Otherwise, let's see what they can do.

  9. The SF Giants and their fans couldn’t stomach the price for Nico. I’m completely disinterested in any of the names being thrown out there for him BUT the Giants do have a really good farm now with very interesting top-prospects at low-A. Josuar Gonzalez, Johnny Level, Keymer Martinez, and Argenis Cayama all have very high ceilings and some combo from that list of names would pique my interest.

  10. They are NOT getting those prospects or that number of prospects on a 1 year rental. My gut says this is a ploy to get the best out of him going into FA. Unfortunately he likely won’t resign because of it. IMO, they should resign him. It comes down to whether or not what he is now is better than what they think Shaw CAN be. Comes down to the rickets not wanting to do more than what is necessary to keep the stands full and thus make a profit

  11. If the Cubs can get some solid pitching I'm all for a trade. In order to make the world series you need to be able to out pitch the Dodgers because even with Nico the Cubs are not out hitting the Dodgers.

  12. Pry away Bryce Eldridge, not a pitcher, but they have Devers now and move back to the outfield. Would have monster power in Wrigley. Trade one of the starters like Taillon, then use the money from Nico and Taillon to go sign Gallen for real this time.

  13. None of those guys "blows anyone away." Feels like I like this would need a third team involved if it were to happen. Then again, Cubs often do what makes sense to only the Cubs.

  14. They need to trade Nico for a legit closer but this garbage that they need to get the same thing that they gave Houston for Tucker is stupid. Tucker is in a whole other league than Nico.
