Hmm CJ RAISES TO ALL IN (hes holding a 4 of a kind fumble hehe)
CJ also had how many fumbles lol. Dude needs to lock in.
Caleb also made some amazing plays to keep his team fighting.
CJ turns the ball over, pouts on the sideline, and then loses the game by multiple scores.
Caleb Williams would have killed it for us in that game. He wasn’t great but he also didn’t look scared.
Bears games have been close and Caleb had memorable highlights. cJ turnovers were just flat out boneheaded
5 ints, 5 fumbles, 2 lost fumbles. FTFY.
The turnovers Cj had were absolutely egregious, Caleb was still helping the offense score points atleast
And how many fumbles? But at the end of the day, swap players and Caleb would have won the pats game. This post ignores that Stroud was behind an elite defense, and all he needed to do was protect the ball. Caleb had to do more BECAUSE his defense wasn’t elite, and so he had to generate points.
I’m a Bears fan so I’m biased but 3 of Caleb’s picks were on 4th down and 2 of them ended up being better than an incompletion and the other one the Packers only gained 3 yards more than what an incompletion would’ve given them. Obviously it’s not good to turn the ball over but most of his picks (outside of the 2 big ones vs the Rams) weren’t back-breakers
with 7 the bears would be even worse than what they were under fields
his last TD pass was one of the greatest plays I have ever seen in my entire life.
C’mon man. If we had Caleb we win that game
Plus Caleb Williams stats are out of necessity having to do more than Stroud having an all world defense.
This is pure cope.
Except Williams actually wasn’t a complete negative for his team. Did you see his throw that forced overtime? This is also his first trip to the playoffs.
how many TDs
We watched the games bro.
If you can’t tell the difference between how these two were playing then football isn’t your sport.
Caleb looked like he was actually trying to win the games. Not sure wtf Stroud was doing
CJ had 4 turnovers in one half versus the pats alone lol another 5 fumbles versus Pitt, 3 for turnovers. This meme is as inaccurate as him.
While there is truth, the issue is with the manner those turn overs occurred.
CJ’s were either panicked throws or bad decisions.
I refuse to acknowledge CJ as my team’s QB
Way to nitpick some stats. This is delusional.
You know damn well no one is taking CJ over Caleb after Sunday. Caleb has an elite set of skills (notice how I didn’t say he’s “elite”) whereas CJ isnt particularly elite at any one thing. And, Caleb has thorougly outplayed CJ since the beginning of last year.
To simplify it: Since the “little bro” scandal, Caleb has kicked CJ’s ass in terms of QB play
Caleb was trying to win games. He’s a little bit of a gunslinger. Stroud on the other hand…I don’t know what that was.
The one on the bottom is a scrub, and should be escorted out of the building by security
An observation about the game.
Play calling. We continue to only throw from the gun and only throw play action under center. About 50% of CJs throws are roll outs or naked bootlegs.
He struggles throwing into pressure and cannot perform the traditional 5 step drop while keeping his eye downfield. (Note: None of this shit is easy and I sure and shit couldn’t do it).
Which leads me to believe that either we need a new offensive strategy/ coordinator, OR… CJ Stroud cannot make NFL throws and needs those play calls to be successful.
Either way, I’m not writing him off yet. Once blocking is a non issue we’ll see if he’s the guy or not.
Not all interceptions are made equal. Caleb made huge plays to actually score and keep Chicago in the games and his last int was because DJ Moore decided running the rest of the route was overrated and caused an overthrow. CJ deadass just sold.
Caleb also threw 4 TDs
CJ had 5 ints one game and 5 fumbles the first. He isnt close to Caleb’s level anymore.
Caleb makes enough splash plays and some insane throws to offset the turnovers. To use an example, Brett Favre had an insane amount of interceptions in his career (the most in NFL history), but is anybody going to say he was a bad QB?
I see Caleb Williams getting the same hate in a couple years, he has the same magic CJ Stroud had his rookie year but once they learn you it’s not the same once they learn your every move just ask CJ
Least Caleb scores touchdowns. Oh, and stroud has like, 2 other fumbles.
Bro you guys are insane and don’t watch or at leas understand football
