I love how we only hear after the fact, that there wasn’t alignment
At the end of the season we will say we too young n inexperienced.
The 24 draft class was absolutely daft
So now after this horrible year waste of a yr now ppl are talking about Defense I was the one screaming all off-season about the fact our D was shit it 24 and we didn't do anything but make it worse by letting our best Edge guys go to bring in a bunch of run stop first D ends that we still had one of the worst rush D again in all of football. Seriously we got a hand full of guys on our d worth a crap 💩 the rest are all fodder that needed replacement last yr
What's the status on Elderman?
Check Your Ego!! Gregg has the biggest ego I've ever come across but I love the guy. He was the only D coordinator who had the Skins D looking like the '80-'90's Skins D.
I think they had to many cooks in the kitchen last year. I don’t think Blough needs an old guy to help him take his first step. If that’s the case we’re screwed anyhow😂
It's quite possible that a few years down the line, we'll look back on this draft and realize we drafted a fragile QB that can't stay healthy when we could have had Maye. It'll be another example of how of an organization gets enamored with an athletic QB, forgetting that those QBs, almost all of the time, don't go on to make great NFL QBs. I hope I'm wrong. JD is super likable and talented. But it's hard to believe he will stop running as much as he does when that's been how he's played his entire life. Needs to be like Mahomes, buy time to get the ball downfield, and far less like early Lamar who took off an ran.
The Commanders — and honestly, the entire D.C. operation — have turned into a complete clown show. For years, Schneider had us beaten down with terrible management. Then came the final gut punch: the name change, which felt less like a thoughtful evolution and more like him sacrificing the team’s identity to save himself. When the new ownership took over, we finally had hope again. Hiring AP made sense and got a lot of us fired up. But then he brought in a retread head coach in Dan Quinn. We tried to keep an open mind — the redemption story, the way it was framed — it all sounded good enough to give it a chance. He hired a promising OC and an untested DC, and we sat through it hoping DQ knew what he was doing. Then came the unexpected 12‑win 2024 season. We were fired up. It felt like things were finally turning around. And then AP bungled the Terry re-signing, and that disaster sucked all the optimism out of the building. It set the tone for yet another classic Washington collapse — 2012/2013 all over again: an amazing year followed immediately by a trainwreck. Now the DC and OC are gone. And what’s the solution? Hiring an untested QB coach as the new OC. Even worse, we fire the O-line coach only to promote his assistant. It honestly feels like DQ isn’t even trying. At this point, Harris, DQ, and AP all seem just as inept as Schneider ever was. Once again, D.C. is a clown show.
Still subbed to Ampire, but be like John, who owns both a calendar and a filter. Do not be like Bram, who apparently lost both.
