  1. For people that don’t click through, the rest of the tweet said this:

McDaniel — who is still a candidate for the Ravens and Raiders HC vacancies — is interviewing for the Chargers offensive coordinator job today. He has multiple OC offers and could have a new home soon.

  2. I can see him choosing OC and wait until next year, potentially with the Jets, Buccaneers or Colts

He saw La Serpiente run that ball in last night and had a revelation

  4. He’s meeting with the Chargers right now. Might be nearing a deal, but we’ll see.

  5. We need Mike or Kubs. One of them will go to Bills. We need the other to not go to the Ravens.

  6. Raiders are probably still in the mix, but he could take the Ravens job which looks more enticing, or he could go be a oc for a year or two and pick where he wants to go be a hc after, regardless I feel like LV is prolly the bottom of his list due to situation and history

  7. i made a post about this last night before anyone even knew Minter was getting a 2nd interview today..

again, Brady and Spytek’s top choice is Minter and they’ve now offered him the job. doesn’t mean he’ll take it of course, but it’s been offered

if Minter says no, Raiders will target Davis Webb next

Kubiak is going to the Bills, Joe Brady is going to the Ravens, Chris Shula (or Minter) is going to the Steelers, and McDaniel is taking an OC job

  8. this could end up being another one of those typical Raiders situations where all the positions get filled except ours, and then we have to hire some random guy from the XFL

  9. McDaniel was never coming here in any capacity – HC or OC – it was mutually understood that the Raiders and him didn’t want the other

tons of coaches have been getting interviewed for every current opening, that’s just standard practice

McDaniel will be the OC for the Chargers or Titans, he’s weighing those 2 options as i type this

  10. He’s no dummy.

A couple weeks ago NFL “experts” talked about the best and worst head coach openings, having the Raiders at the bottom of their list, and the Browns in the middle. Right.

Jim Schwartz is going to be stuck with that job. No one else will take it. Highly meddling owner, serial sexual predator QB your owner and GM decided to pay 1/4th your team’s salary to, and the guy sucks. Bad draft choices. The list goes on and on.

  11. Miami to Cleveland does involve a fair amount of culture shock.
