Depends on who’s available
Right now of the guys available I guess Tomlin.
Honestly? Sean McVay.
KOC
Mike McDaniel out of the options who are available right now but I really think he needs some time before his next opportunity.
Hopefully Sean Mcvay wants out of LA by then.
I’m a big fan of Matt LaFleur despite his playoff struggles.
The number of comments saying McVay make me think we’re completely delusional in here.
McVay, even if we had to trade for him
I am really hoping the plan is for Tomlin to take over after Andy retires in a season or two. Tomlin with an actual functioning QB for the first time in nearly his whole career could be fantastic. Dude is a serial winner as a HC, and is still plenty young
Sean McDermitt, without a doubt. There is no way that guy gets fired from Buffalo and doesn’t win the next 5 superbowls. It is Buffalos lot in life to suffer in such ways, we should cash in asap
A realistic option that I could see Reid endorsing on his way out would be Mike Kafka. Dream would obviously be Sean McVay.
Mike McDanial. He’s had growing pains and some issues beyond his control. I think he learns from it and has success somewhere. I think Pat would cook with him for another decade.
Edit: Upon further thought. I would try and bring him in right now as the OC and make him HC in waiting. Andy would have to give up play calling though.
Ben Johnson or Mike Mcdonald. Those dudes completely changed the trajectory of their teams in one season.
Cignetti! lol
Dan Lanning would be interesting.
Andy should stay in KC and have some role with the Chiefs after coaching.
I just want the gif of Andy Reid using binoculars in one hand and a burger in the other from the coaches box.
Shanahan or McVay
It’d be hilarious if it ended up being McDermott and we beat Josh Allen again.
Sean McDermott just so Mahomes can show Josh how to get it done with a good coach
I would want McVay, but he ain’t leaving Rams. He has already won a SB. He has talked about how much he loves LA outside of football. I give it an exactly 0% chance he comes to KC.
Would have to be a hungry coach willing to move to KC.
Maximum hilarity would be getting McDermott and winning four straight Super Bowls.
It’s hard to say because we have no clue who will emerge by that time. The pool could be very different in a couple years. Maybe there will be a Mike Macdonald type guy emerging
Mike Macdonald (Seahawks head coach)
Kevin O’Connell
Either Kyle shanahan or mcvay. I think kyle would be better if he had a legit qb. Purdy is fine but he will never take you further or carry a team the way Patrick has.
Mike McCarthy or Mike McDaniels
Another not far fetched idea Tom Brady as HC nothing like Player who is the most winning Superbowl QB as HC. Give him more Superbowl rings adding to his resume from the 7 currently into like 10+ with HC bonus rings added (Not For KC though but anywhere else)

I’d choose retired Andy Reid
