Palmer knows that the Broncos as a team will put Jared in the best situation. Broncos 23 Patriots 20
What Stidham Knows:
Win 2 games and write your own contract with any team in the league.
Why does this guy sound like Bert Kreischer to me?
The machine
Cj stroud is garbage no matter who he plays
Haters keep on giving Broncos more FUEL
Stiddy is going to shock the world!!
People forget that Stidham got booted from the patriots because Tom Brady was worried about his job security and Stiddy taking it.
Let that sink in
I know Stidham did really well at Baylor. If I was an owner or GM….I would look to the Big 12 for QB and receivers and secondary, Big 10 for offensive line, SEC for Defense line and linebackers
CJ STROUNDS ATTENTION SPAN WAS FAR FROM THE FIELD. I DONT BELIEVE HE'S HAPPY WITH THE TEAM AND IN TEXAS
😢
Its not like the Broncos have much choice , but if they kept the guy, there's a good reason ! Time to Rock n Roll ! Good Luck !
Denverite here. Obviously want Stid to do well. But reality of playoff pressure? Look at Stroud. It's the mind, not the body. And it's definitely not knowledge as Palmer emphasized.
You don’t think Josh McDaniels doesn’t know all of Stidhams weaknesses at quarterback and reading coverages? He’s gonna sit down with Vrabes and the Def coaches and help come up with a game plan to pick him apart. If anyone knows him it’s McDaniels.
Rich, you suck and l think you're overrated 😊
Palmer knows his stuff but us that know Stidy know he will lead the Offense and all the sports books can set there lines but Stidy will smoke the overrated Patriots Defense and the Broncos Defense will Sack the young Drake May all day he will look like a Rag Doll out there against the Best front Seven in football bottom line! Drake May survived the Texans because there QB played pathetic in the Playoffs in both rounds with a Offense that was not good at all around him most of the Season and Now they travel to Denver where the Broncos are 13-1 sense September 2024 and the Patriots are 0-4 in the Playoffs LMAO!!!
Jordan would be great on MSNBC or The View. There's no way this guy believes the words he's saying. I don't.
Time to get Gritty Stiddy!!!
Nothing worse than a prized stallion kept in the gates too long.
LFG’
I can't believe that people forget that the Patriots and JMD know Stiddy more than Sean does…
Lol rich …riching lol 😂😂😂 for a paycheck
Seattle Denver Superbowl rematch is my call! Go Stiddy. Go Crush defense. Let's ride!
Stidham jerseys are going to fly off the shelves if he pulls this off. Walmart would be very happy about that I'm sure
No offense to Stidham, but this is an overwhelmingly optimistic take, to the point of dishonesty. Why?
First – Stidham (who by the way I wanted to take over when Brady left) didn't "shred" KC in his second start in 2022. He led his offense to 13 points, throwing for 219 yards on 61% passing, with 1 td and 1 int, but also took 6 sacks and lost 2 fumbles. Better than Stroud last weekend, sure, but not a dominant performance like Palmer is presenting. (He did do well against SF, 365 yards on 68% passing, 3 tds and 2 ints and a fumble.)
Second – seriously, if Stidham were at all at the level that Palmer says, why the heck did they bother drafting Nix? Develop Stidham, use that 1st round pick on Brock Bowers, build a powerful offense with lower priced players, build through free agency.
Third (goes with 2nd) – nobody, absolutely nobody, is going to believe that this guy has the same ceiling as Drake Maye. If that were so, he would've shown it out by now. As Palmer said, the first trade Josh McDaniels made with the Raiders was to get Stidham. And Stidham didn't start until the season was basically over.
I'm not saying Stidham is a scrub, practice squad only type of player, and I'm not proclaiming he's horrible. I'm just bringing things into the open. Maybe Palmer's right, and he throws for 2 tds and 325 yards and runs for 50 and the Broncos win going away. I think it's more likely that even with Sean Payton's guidance (which will no doubt help him), he'll hit a stretch where things don't click very well, and the defense gets to him.
I bear Stidham no ill will – as I said, when Brady went to Tampa, I expected him to be the starter, and wasn't pleased when they signed Newton (who by that time was no longer able to throw). I think it'd be a nice story if he plays well, maybe even gets a shot at starting – although those jobs tend to be for bad teams like the Jets who will not have an offensive line that can protect him, so I hope the paycheck is worth it. But I still expect the Patriots to win, something like 27-16.
But please, Mr. Palmer, think before you speak. Comparing him to the QB who is either the MVP or the runner-up, that's overly high praise for a backup, even one that you obviously like.
Um because they aren't going to just roll over? Of course they're going to say all the right things.
Stiddham didn't Ball out on chiefs
Stiddy is gonna make the patriots look like preseason
The X Factor is Josh McDaniels who knows Stidham’s tendencies and knows him very well. McDaniels will help Vrabel scheme up a gameplan.
the biggest question mark is not how well Sstidham know the offense. It's whether he can make big plays in big moments.
I think Stiddy has better deep ball accuracy and will throw to Engram who should win his match ups.
He looked good in preseason, but yeah it is preseason.
Well CJ Stroud is very very bad lol
Rich loathes the Broncos because of the London game, followed by the Raiders game. Rich called both games and felt like he'd wasted half a month of his life. It grinds his soul that winning matters more than flash and pizzazz.
Its ridiculous how many people still don't factor in the Denver phenomenon. Broncos move on.
