The NY Giants’ season has ended and Giants will be picking at 5. Let’s hear from you which player(s) the Giants should target in the draft!

Here’s a list of the draft order (so far): https://www.tankathon.com/nfl

Moving forward, mock drafts should be posted here. Also, might help to give a bit of an explanation behind your picks, to drive conversation, so tell us about that. Feel free to use this thread to introduce to the fandom about potential mid to late round targets; maybe prospects we haven’t heard of yet.

Use this thread for the entire week, anything related to mock drafts. Every Monday we will start a new thread until the draft begins on April 23, 2026.

Also, if you want to give us an in-depth analysis on a prospect, it doesn’t have to just be in this thread. Make a text post about it!

Alright armchair GMs, it’s your moment to shine. Go Big Blue!

  1. No trades. I don’t know his value but ideally the Giants would send Banks with one of the 6th rounders to move up into the late 4th. Per the trade value charts that would give Banks the value of a mid to late 5th round pick, which sounds about right.

Round 1 – S Caleb Downs, Ohio State

Round 2 – WR Chris Bell, Louisville

Round 4 – CB Tacario Davis, Washington

    Round 5 – OG Ar’maj Reed-Adams, Texas A&M

Round 6 – OT Aamil Wagner, Notre Dame

Round 6 – WR Nate Key, Nebraska

    Round 6 – P Brett Thorson, Georgia

  2. It depends on if Nabers is ready. If he isn’t then I could see Tate being picked. If he’s healthy, OL from Miami or Downs will be the pick. Harbaugh seems to like safeties so Downs might be the pick. I think they can trade down and still get 1 or the 3. Also Robinson getting re-signed matters but I just can’t see a team giving him $15-17m per year for a small slot receiver.

  3. It might be too early of a pick at 5, but really love that LB from OSU, Sonny Styles. Might be a potentially great trade down target. Gets overlooked cause of Arvell Reese.

A lanky athletic freak who has great instinct and plays with aggression. Could be an impactful player for a young defense the way he’s versatile in run defense and zone coverage. Reminds me a lot of Fred Warner, who could do a bit of everything.

We know how much Harbaugh values a stud ILB on his defense, someone who can be an anchor and provide leadership. I think Styles is someone worth a serious look.

  4. We’ve had 3 top 5 picks in the past 5 years and we are going defense again?

I don’t see Downs as this Jamal Adams type.

I would rather have a 2nd WR like every other team in our division.

  5. Everyone advocating drafting one of these wr2s in the top 5 of the draft and opposed to drafting Jerimiyah Love (a much better prospect and playmaker) you have PFF brain

  6. At this point in the draft cycle, there are 4 players who I would like at #5:

    * Ohio State WR Carnell Tate
    * Ohio State S Caleb Downs
    * Miami RT/RG Francis Mauigoa
    * Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love

**1. Raiders – Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza**

    Obvious Pick

**2. Jets – Ohio State ED Arvell Reese**

I think he will have a strong pre draft process and be touted as Parsons/Carter Upside

    **3. Cardinals – Miami RT/RG Francis Mauigoa**

Their RT Jonah Williams is becoming a free agent and has been below average. Jonah graded 76th out of 89 tackles by PFF. Kelvin Beachum is 35 and nearing retirement

**4. Titans – Miami DE Rueben Bain Jr**

The Titans have an extremely weak roster. They go BPA here, also a position of need for them, adding Bain to their d line with Jeffrey Simmons and Tvondre Sweat.

**5. Giants – Ohio State WR Carnell Tate**

In this scenario, Wandale walked in free agency and Nabers is still in the recovery process. I wouldn’t want to rely too much on Slayton or risk overworking Nabers and causing reinjury this season. To be competitive in our division, I think we need to bolster our weapons and support our young QBs development. Tate is the best WR in the draft, before factoring in all of Tysons injury issues. He will form a dynamic receiving duo with Nabers for years to come.

  7. Still need to go through free agency. Still need coordinators. A lot to go before the draft.

  8. As much as I prefer BPA strategy, if a team has a similar grade on 2 players, and one is in a position of need, they will go with the position of need.

Until we know what is happening wiry Eleumenor, Flott, and WDR, it’s hard to see where they will go with a pick as high as #5 in the draft.

Also, new coaching staff, and their systems and schemes could play a huge role.

  9. Kill me but my choices would be:
    #1a – Makai Lemon / #1b – Caleb Downs
    #2 – Francis Mauigoa
    #3 – Tate
    #4 – Tyson

  10. I don’t think whether or not Nabers is ready for week 1 should have any bearing on taking a WR at #5 unless there is a known concern about his long term recovery. I am not against a WR at #5, and they need a WR2, but Nabers’ missing a few games shouldn’t affect the decision on what you hope is foundational player for years.

More and more I’m warming up to the idea of going Caleb Downs and doubling up secondary with a CB in Rd. 2.

Our teams biggest concern is our defense. Even with the terrible receiving crew we had, we would’ve been a winning team with a better defense with how many games they blew.

This draft is deep in the CB position. Especially in the first 2 rounds where you can get a Day 1 starter in Rd. 2.

I’d love any of Hood, Cisse, Johnson or Abney in Rd. 2. Then we go WR, LB and then load up on OL depth.
