Can the Seattle Seahawks apply some pressure on Matthew Stafford this week?

1. Somethings could be learned from Chicago Bears game with Rams, their edges was getting pressure.

2. Blitz a small percentage 20-25 percent

3. Don’t blitz STAFFORD!!!! You did this in the first half of the last game and look at the result. Our pass rush is damn good enough to get home

4. Without trying to sound like a cocky homer, based on the last 6 weeks, I think the Seahawks blow out the Rams next Sunday. I don’t think the Rams are the same team they were the first 2/3 of the season. Their defense has regressed a lot, their offense has regressed a little. Although Darnold has regressed somewhat, our offense hasn’t. Our run game has gotten better every week, our defense is playing as good as any defense ever. 27-16 Seahawks

7. I think we need to blitz for sure. Stafford has shown he isn’t the same when you blitz and take away options in the middle. Nick EMMANWORI is going to need to have a huge game!

14. Hope we don't have to depend on blitzing Stafford to get pressure? Though maybe something changed with him or the Rams offensive scheme when it comes to dealing with the blitz? I guess, one can try it and see if we are successful with it or not? 🤔

15. Nobody beats the Blitz better than Stafford. He feasts on the Blitz. Stafford's bread and Butter, yup the Blitz.

16. If the Rams are using 3 tight end sets, they are begging you to blitz. I can't see McDonald making that same mistake again for 3 quarters, like in the last Rams game .

21. He’s at the end of a season and probably worn down some, the finger and the full menu of items you laid out are probably all playing into his abilities. Are you going to do a video on his O-line? Through the season would be cool plus the TE’s blocking is another question mark.

22. Pressuring Stafford and getting our own running game going are keys to a sound thumping of the Rams. If not, it will be a close game.

24. I honestly don’t want us to blitz, Stafford is too good at finding the open guy. Rush 4-5 max

25. MacDonald should blitz Stafford and play man-to-man instead of playing zone because Stafford can pick zone defenses apart. Seattle needs to rattle and sack Stafford and make him uncomfortable in the pocket, and not give him time to pick Seattle's D apart.

30. I think the Seahawks d line was tired to end the season. That week off and feeding off the home crowd had the defensive line moving with more juice. I expect them to be on one in this game!

32. Stafford had been bad in his two playoff games this year against pressure. His overall numbers have been bad. I say blitz him in this game.

33. One big issue, Seahawks run a lot of cover two and cover four. Stafford excels under these coverage schemes historically. The Panthers and Bears run more cover 1/3 than Seahawks. McDonald should look at that a bit if it can be shifted or disguised to fool Stafford.

34. Watch the tape, anytime we got slight pressure on stafford – he would make a bad throw. Macdonald said stafford releases the ball too fast which is why he didnt get sacked. But something needs to change, pressure on Stafford is the priority with good coverage at the back end.

35. I want someone to Blast Stafford! We should employ a goon whose sole responsibility is to destroy QBs and get ejected.
