Matthew Stafford & Rams Made Plays To Survive Caleb Williams & Bears

Chris Long talks about the LA Rams and Chicago Bears game, one which the Rams survived in overtime. Matthew Stafford didn’t play his best but made the throws when he needed and while Caleb Williams had multiple turnovers, he was the reason the Bears were close to heading to the NFC Conference Championship. 1. Too cold for snow in that game. Survive? If that means killing your playoff run and send you home until next season . . . I'll take it! Holding Verse allowed Williams to make that lucky TD play at the end. Bears played a good game. I agree with you about running instead of passing. Stafford is the MVP! Use him!
    🔥Go RAMS🔥

  2. Williams was not good for the majority of the game. He’s a rollercoaster. Still would be excited if he was my QB but one play doesn’t change how poorly he played for long stretches.

  3. Rams fan here, I completely agree you Chris about the Rams running the ball with 2:09 left in the 4th on that 3rd and 10. You have to trust Stafford, and go for the 1st down. Not like it takes less time off the clock if it goes incomplete.

  4. Even McVay does not know what the hell was he thinking. He said that himself on the press conference. Sometimes he is… strange. Dont want to insinuate anything, but quite a lot of Rams games this year went into NFL and Vegas favor, by keeping games tooo close, messing with the spreads… I dont know man. That 4th and 4 theatrical fiasco by Durant at the end was waaay tooooo comical to be true. As soon as they legalised gambling, entire NFL is leaning more thowards WWE. Just show for masses and money for the house

  5. Survived ? ! Backhanded BS compliment.
LAR lost a starting CB 4 plays in & Byron Young for the 4th quarter. Did CHI do enough with that edge ? If CHI also had a cold weather edge, their performance looks even worse, imo….lol… overall and QB vs QB.

Stafford doesn't play well in the cold bore out ? ! Any effing thing you could actually specify as cold-caused ?
As brilliant as he's been overall, Stafford has had lulls in both accuracy & decision-making in games all season. He's missed relatively easy TD shots numerous times, had cringy TOs. All of a sudden it's because of the cold ?

If it was the cold that was primarily bothering him, why did he make his best throws at the end when tired & it was even colder ? Maybe because the wind died down & pass pro, rushing, and playcalling improved and/or adjustments worked. Not that I'm a QB expert or anything, but those are factors anyone can see or logically deduce from what actually happened.

  6. Hes spot on about the McVay trying to take it to Ben Johnson for his friend. It was in embarrassing fashion too. The first drive he tried the exact same bubble screen fake TD that Ben did on GB and it didn't work. Lol The Bears were ready for it. He's lucky Ben got in his own way and decided not to kick FGs
