1. everyone’s gonna be 0-0 in August. we don’t get extra points for a good year. hopefully next year we won’t be so reliant on crazy comebacks and turnovers.

Too many times we see coaches talk about momentum going into the following season or finishing the season strong despite a bad season just so everyone feels good going into the season. Lovie was a good coach for us but he had these seasons where we finished strong.

19. As we should be back at the bottom. Teams that have massive turnarounds like we had, combined with the variation of comeback wins we had when down with under 2 minutes? The odds are honestly against us from having the same success UNLESS the team continues to evolve and get better.

    The 2026 Bears will not be as good as the 2025 Bears if we settle for stagnation and say we were 1 throw away from the NFC Championship. We need to figure out how to start better, and be in a position where we are winning with 2 minutes to go versus Caleb needing to bail us out every other game.

    Which includes Caleb being more proficient in the earlier 58 minutes

23. It’s been a full year with Ben Johnson and I think it’s fair to say he’s improved my quality of life substantially. Elite mentality, elite Coach.

    Everyone here likes to assume we will just automatically be better next year and that is often not how things work unfortunately. Especially for the Bears. When was the last time we had back-to-back good seasons.

    I speak for all Bears fans when I say we are super appreciative of Ben Johnson being our HC not just for what he’s given us in year 1, but for what he’s going to do for this org that’s on the come up for years to come.

    I know everyone’s banking on the D improving next year, which under our regime I have zero doubts that will happen. But nobody knows just how much more this offense can grow better than Ben Johnson. We were top 5, you can bet your ass he wants to be #1.

34. God I think we had a real chance this year. I don’t think there is a clear dominant force in the playoffs. Such a bummer. Good year nonetheless.
