  15. Its not Bona's size by having bad hands and/or lack of focus. Sometime Bona will have the ball with two hands and someone knocks it out of his hands.
    That won't happen with Drummond.

    And why is Bona ever defending 30 feet from the basket?

  16. It may have cost the Sixers 2 or 3 games by Nurse giving McCain extra minutes beyond just giving Maxey a break.
    But now that the team is healthy, Maxey, Grimes and VJ should be able to handle 100% of the guard minutes and maybe a few minutes of a 3 guard lineup.
    We haven't even seen Beauchamp yet (due to delaying the 2-Way promotions) and he's a 6'6" SF/SG.

    McCain should be focused on being a pass-first playmaking PG, who makes his teammates better.
    That is his best hope for making it in the NBA. TJ McConnell should be a role model for McCain.

  17. Grimes is getting too predictable shooting 3s or driving to the rim.
    He needs to pull up more and take 10-12 foot shots that he can hit at 60% rate.

    I've also noticed that McCain has been too selfish, especially when playing with Grimes.
    McCain acts like if he doesn't make baskets, he's going to be pulled.
    Actually Nurse would leave him in, if he made his teammates better, without taking many shots.

  18. If Sixers had won the 3 inexcusable losses of the past week (before playing PHO), they would have been 11 games over 500 and in 2nd place (now that the Knicks have hit a bad stretch).
    Its laughable that the Knicks bad stretch coincided with winning silly In Season Tournament. The IST needs to go. Its a curse besides being a failure that has resulted in more back to backs.

  19. I love Maxey and I’m glad he’s on this team but he’s a 2, his playmaking isn’t elite and he’s playing passing lanes too much to get steals leading to wide open shots. But the team is still built around Embiid, not Maxey so it doesn’t play to his strengths. But it’s not all on him, most of it is roster construction (Kyle and EG taking up spots is insane), grimes is a shot chucker but no one cared last year good player on a bad team type player. Nurse doesn’t adjust and has awful rotations, his offense consist of “cook em Maxey” because he’s a star merchant. His ring came from kawhii carry and get a lucky bounce and KD being hurt in the finals. Would love a trade for Drummond to get another center, I’m sick of his big ass standing around or shooting threes, take the green light away please. Love what I’ve seen from VJ, Dom, and the energy from like Bona and KO. Sorry for the rant but damn this team is frustrating at times and I can’t wait for nurse to be gone.
