I have been watching hockey for more than 20 years and I have been a fan of the habs since the early 2000s. I have to say I haven’t witnessed this much talent and offensive production…ever.
I swear bro if we could have managed 10 fewer GA we’d be safer in the standings 🙁
It’s kinda refreshing to see us NOT build from the goaltender out.
weird given the last 20 years….
We lost a huge number of games last year by a single goal. This year it feels like we’re coming out to the better of that coin toss more often than not.
We are going to be a fucking beast for the next decade
Lane is a real deal, Demidov is a real deal, Slafkovsky is a real deal, …
And without a bonfire absolute super duper star like McDavid or McKinnon.
Don’t get me wrong, Suzuki is a stud 1C but he’s not in the same tier as those guys.
Habs are doing this with depth.
Sexy.

Finally. I stopped watching the Habs when they brought back Claude Julien. I know that he didnt have the team to play something else than the dumpe and chase style but I couldnt watch such boring hockey anymore. I came back with the miracle run to the SC ans pretty stick around since. Its so much fun to watch those guys that actually play hockey with possession zone transition instead of dumping 95% of the time. I would take 7-5 games over 1-0 games any time, win or lose.
