LYNCH: “He plays the game the right way. We’d love to have him back. We’ll work to accomplish that. We’ll see how it goes.”

  1. Did anyone asked these guys what is their plan with S&C do we need a complete over haul

  2. JJ is an awesome warrior but we need a true WR with speed. I’d rather spend on Rashid Shaheed and Alec Pierce first. But if he takes 15-16M a year I’m down for WR2

  3. I’d be shocked if we resigned him. Would love to have him back but I think he gets a nice pay day on open market.

  4. He’s good but I hate it when our group is slow

Like when we had Crabtree and Anquan Boldin as our WR.

  5. Wouldnt be surprised if the titans give him a bag, hes from Tennessee, Salehs the hc, they have a bunch of cap space and have no reliable pass catcher.

  6. Maybe I’m in the minority but personally I don’t feel JJ is worth the money at this point. Is he gritty? Yes. Does he play hard? Yes. But we need A1 top of the line WR and I just feel his inconsistency is what hurts him. He can be stellar 1 week or 2 weeks then he just simply vanishes. The opp have been there for him too. But he’s just not a WR1 or even WR2 and at the price of 15m I just don’t see it.
We have to stop letting our “love” for player dictate how we see the team. Don’t be blinded by it it’s cool to like players and appreciate what they have done. But if the goal is to get that ring then the team also has to know when to move on. Crabtree, Aldon, Deebo and Aiyuk.

  7. The top end of the WR free agent market is so bad this year (especially if Pickens & Pierce re-sign). Jennings is going to want to test the market and he’ll be one of the better guys there.

  8. I would love to have JJ on our team next year but we really need some more speed at WR and JJ will want more money than I think we can afford to give him.

  9. As we should – depending on the contract.

A possession receiver is MASSIVE however we need a real X receiver bad.

  10. If we can get him back for 13-15 mil with some incentives if his playing well to get him to a number he wants I’m happy to have him back but after the whole BA situation caving into demands of 22mil+ is risky

  11. 3/45+incentives for more. 27 guaranteed.

Sign a solid piece like Alec if the price is right (not 30m aav)

Hope someone like Makai Lemon drops

Take a flyer on a speedster in the 3rd or 4th? Or later.

FIRE the strength and conditioning staff and trainers

Biggest gamble would be making an offer to Pickens if they don’t tag/resign him.

  12. He has the dog in him.

    Blocking ability.

Needs to work on not losing his cool or letting others get under his skin. Also consistency is much needed

** he has had a series of injuries that affected his performance—broken ribs and ??

  13. Juwan would open up even more with a true #1. But I’m take Alec Pierce, Pearsall and a 2nd round WR

  14. Depends on the price. I want WR’s who can get open, not WR’s that need to be schemed open.

  15. Worried he’ll turn into another headcase if he gets the bag. The warning signs are there.

  16. Just some data for everyone! JJ was ranked 60th of 127 receivers in PFF grade for offense. Our receivers have been under delivering for many years, with one off great years. JJ had a great year last year, but yeah his time was very middle of the road.

  17. I’d offer $12M/year. If he’s looking for $20M, they can settle somewhere in the middle
