  1. I get his frustration but just because some isn’t athletic themselves doesn’t mean they can’t recognize talent

  2. Problem is fans and media called out every flaw the Lions refused to address last offseason, and every single one bit them in the ass and cost them the playoffs. If the experts can’t tell Davenport can’t be depended on, exactly why should the fans have faith?

  3. After Morton, skepticism is warranted. I’ll believe it’s a good hire when I see it.

  4. We honestly don’t care who the OC is. Just win.

We haven’t won a playoff game in two seasons. Let’s focus on getting back to winning and not what fans are saying on social media.

  5. We trusted then with Morton… this time around I would rather have had someone more proven

  6. Ngl I don’t like people telling fans how to be a fan. From my prospective they had a disappointing year and just fired the oc after a year. I don’t think it’s right to get upset that fans aren’t happy about the hire whether you think it’s good or not.

He’s also just creating bait for people if they don’t have a good year.

  7. Guys, while he did say he thought it was crazy some of the fans reactions and they don’t know ball, this is AI slop and not really close to the right quote

  8. Dan has failed with 2 OC hires. Skepticism is warranted in my opinion. If he fails a third in the middle of a supposed Superbowl window it’s not going to be good…all that being said no one has a clue how the petzing hire will pan out until next season.

  9. This isn’t even what he said at all. Watch his podcast and theres nothing about a 40 yard dash or talking about Mike McDaniel
