Mike Pettine on his career w/ the Cleveland Browns, working with Grant Udinski & finding a QB1

  1. Mike Pettine’s a good person, a good coordinator, and got dealt a raw hand. But I also don’t think he was cut out to be a head coach – I think his calling was always as a DC, and that’s okay.

Just a shame it took an all-time dumpster fire for that conclusion to be drawn.

  2. The main thing I remember about Pettine is when asked about why he started Hoyer over Manziel, he would say “Brian gives us the best chance to win”

Then when he started Manziel the first time, when asked about that decision, he said “he gives us a chance to win”

  3. Find an Offense of line first . Cleveland wants to win without an offensive line and believes new QB new coach is the way to go. Just the worst

  4. Damn, he was actually answering their Johnny Manziel in Vegas question but they talked over him! Missed opportunity there.
